Brown Bear is a Friend that first appeared in the Kemono Friends game by Nexon and has become one of the most common faces of the franchise ever since.
Appearance
Brown Bear has reddish brown eyes, short brown hair with a white task on the front bang and a pair of bear ears. She wears an off-white shortsleeved shirt with a blue ribbon attached to it. She wear dark compression shorts and a very short black skirt. She has brown fur-lined boots and brown arm-warmers. Like other bear Friends, she is wielding a sledgehammer-like weapon but with a huge bear paw at the end. A very short bear tail is at her back.

In Real Life
The Brown Bear is a large bear with the widest distribution of any living ursid. The Brown Bear is one of the two largest terrestrial carnivorans alive today, competing with the polar bear in size. It remains listed as a least concern species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature with a total population of approximately 200,000.
Brown bears are at the top of the food chain and have no risk of predatary attack except from other bears, tigers or humans. They are omnivorous and will eat plants and other animals if available. They are often seen pirating wolf kills. Their diet are in fact mainly plants including grass, leaves, wild berries, nuts, seeds, fruits but it can also snack some insects such as beetles or ants.
During the fall, brown bears eat practically around the clock, stocking up for the next four to seven months of hibernation. They may eat 90 pounds of food per day. Despite their enormous size, brown bears are extremely fast, having been clocked at speeds of 30 miles per hour.
They can pose severe danger to humans so it is highly advised, especially for campers and hikers, to avoid and be prepared for bear encounters. Most bear attacks occur when the animal is defending itself or its territory against any perceived threat. They rarely hunt humans for food.

- Brown Bear has a number of subspecies inhabiting Eurasia, North Africa and North America. Among them, Ezo Brown Bear and Kodiak Bear have been featured in the franchise as well.
- She transforms into Higumamon, a collab Friend who appears during the Kemono Friends 3 collab event, '叶えるモン！夢のじゃぱり城', with Kumamon, a bear mascot of Kumamoto Prefecture.
