Kemono Friends V Project, often abbreviated to KemoV Project or KemoV (Japanese: けもV, Hepburn: KemoV) is a Virtual YouTuber project announced in Official news on PPP ONLINE LIVE ~ Sekai Penguin no-chi Dai Kanshasai ~ on April 25th, 2021. Currently five members of the group are active on YouTube; each Virtual YouTuber also has a social media presence with a Twitter account.
A teaser showing new members was revealed at the end of Caracal's 3D debut stream on July 1st, 2022. Silhouettes of five new members were revealed. KemoV Twitter also announced it right after the stream.
Members
KemoV currently has 5 generations consisting of 6 members. "Generation" in KemoV usage differs from the term's usage in Kemono Friends (see Glossary#Generations). It corresponds to the common usage in the grouping of Virtual YouTubers, i.e. as batches where the members of a batch debut at the same time. KemoV Project has also announced five new members are coming soon.
First Generation
This consists of two Virtual YouTubers whose debut was announced simultaneously with the start of the KemoV project. Their first collaborative livestream took place at 22:00 JST on April 26th, 2021, on African Penguin's YouTube channel. The livestream used 3D models with full-body motion capture technology. Afterwards, regular livestreams continued to feature the 3D models from the torso up. African Penguin graduated from the KemoV Project on May 21st, 2022.
