Trivia
- Like Chibi Kumamon, she always ends her line of dialogue with the word "mon" (モン).
- There is a pattern of three white inverted-Vs at the back of Higumamon's leotard. It is a reference to the gable design of Kumamoto Castle.
- According to the concept art of Higumamon at the Kemono Friends 3 pop-up store Kanazawa 2022, her bear paw weapon represents 2 parts of Kumamoto Castle. The base of the weapon - a large black bear paw, symbolizes the Honmaru Palace (本丸) of Kumamoto Castle. The smaller bear paw in brown color at the top represents Uto yagura (宇土櫓), a large castle tower next to the main castle. It is also an important cultural heritage built in Edo period.
- The red hoodie of Higumamon's personal fashion in Kemono Friends 3 is in fact a real Kumamon official good, Kumamon Square Original Hoodie (くまモンスクエア オリジナルパーカー).
