Buffalo |
The Buffalo is a type of Friend that, despite being mentioned within Kemono Friends material, has never made an official appearance or been given an official design. The Buffalo is mentioned in Kemono Friends Pavilion in American Bison's self-introduction. Despite never officially appearing in the game, evidence from said line imply that Buffalo gets confused with American Bison.
Appearance
As Buffalo has not yet made an official appearance, only mentioned in American Bison's self-introduction, her physical appearance is unknown.

In Real Life
The name “buffalo” is applied to several different cud-chewing (ruminant) mammals of the ox family (Bovidae).
The true or Indian buffalo (Bubalus bubalis), also known as the water buffalo or arna, exists in both wild and domesticated forms. It has been domesticated in Asia since ancient times and was introduced to Italy around 600 AD. This large, ox-like animal has a massive, clumsy build, with triangular horns that can grow over 6 feet long. Standing 5 feet tall at the shoulder, its dull black body is often sparsely covered with hair. The horns curve outward and upward, meeting in a plane above its rounded forehead and long face.
Its relative, the Cape or African buffalo (Syncerus caffer), is a similarly large, black animal, but unlike the Indian buffalo, it has never been domesticated.
Trivia
- In the Nexon Game, American Bison says “If anything maybe "Buffalo" sounds more familiar to everyone?”, but later in Pavilion it is implied that Buffalo is a different Friend.
