Guernsey Cattle Nexon Game

The Guernsey Cattle is a type of bovid Friend that first appeared in the original Kemono Friends mobile game.

Appearance

Guernsey Cattle has light brown hair with a cream-colored star shape just above her bangs and a cream-coloured patch wrapping around the back of her head. Her hair is tied back in a large bun fixed by a pink bow along with two dangling loops, and her sidelocks reach down to her chin and sport two tiny pink bows tying off their ends. Guernsey Cattle has large, light brown cattle ears atop her head, and a matching cow's tail at her rear; this, too, has a small pink bow tied to it. Guernsey Cattle's eye color is not known, as she keeps her eyes closed.

Guernsey Cattle wears a white dress shirt under a light brown vest; a cream-colored zig-zag runs along the vest's lower waist, and three buttons run down its middle. These are accented by a ruffled white cravat and what appear to be light brown and white arm warmers. She has a pleated pink skirt with a ruffled white hem, light brown and white thigh-high stockings, and white shoes with gradient light brown toe caps.

In Real Life

First documented in the 19th century, the Guernsey is a hardy and long-lived cattle breed originating from the island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands, found off the French coast of Normandy. Guernseys are a medium-sized breed, with cows weighing up to 500 kg (1400 lbs.) and bulls up to 700 kg (2000 lbs.); the sexes average at 54" at the shoulder. Guernseys are marked by their reddish or fawn-brown coats, sometimes pied with white.

Guernseys are a dairy cow breed; their milk is noteworthy for its high buttermilk and protein contents, giving it a distinctive richness and flavor, as well as its golden-yellow tinge consequent of a high presence of β-carotene.

The breed is on a watchlist maintained by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, due to declining registrations and changes to the breed brought on by selective breeding strategies.

Trivia

  • Guernsey Cattle is the only Friends whose eyes always closed both in her illustration and all of her animation as well.
