African Wild Dog is a Friend that appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion. She is the third Friend to have been added after Version 1.2.0, and the thirty-fourth Friend added overall.

正面から見るとよくわかりますが、大きく丸みを帯びた耳が特徴です。アフリカに暮らす肉食動物の中では立場が弱いため、仲間と協力して生き抜いてます。 「オーダーを必ず果たすためには、仲間との連携が重要です。その点、わたしの問題はありませんが···ここにはマイペースな方が多いから、いろいろと苦労します······。正直くじけそうで、わたしが５人いればと思わないことはないですが、共に頑張りましょう」

While apparent when viewed from the front, this animal's defining characteristic is its large, rounded ears. As it is in the most vulnerable position of all African carnivores, it survives by cooperating with others. "If you want to make sure all orders are carried out, collaboration is critical. Personally, I have no trouble with that point, but... there are a lot of leisurely types around here, so that's caused a lot of problems.... Honestly, it's kind of disheartening, and sometimes I wish there were five of me around. But let's do our best together."

How to Encounter

The rateup items added during African Wild Dog's update are the Whiteboard and the Parfait Cup, the latter of which is time-limited.

Annoyingly, all but one of African Wild Dog's rateups (the aforementioned Whiteboard) are time-limited 3-star items. If the player was not around to complete the Halloween 2018 challenges that awarded the Jack O' Lantern, they will have to wait for a lucky print or a more accessible rateup.

Unique Behavior

• さくせんかいぎ (Strategy Meeting) - Stands to the right side of the Whiteboard, which now has what appears to be a Cerulean battle plan drawn on it. Carrying a paw-shaped pointer, the alternates between standing sternly on the spot and looking to and from the board, or pointing at its contents demonstratively. At one point, she drops her pointer while gesturing at the board and bends over to pick it up, before holding it up in the air with a smile.
