Black-Backed Jackal is a Friend in Kemono Friends Pavilion. She was added to the game in patch 1.0.1, the first Friend to be added after the original release.

How to Encounter

Black-Backed Jackal has had a number of rateups added since the day of her release, making up for the Fukumasu no longer being available. Strangely, her Tire Pyramid can often leave the player wanting, due to its single-slot nature leaving no room for spawn pool manipulation.

She has several craftables to her name; the Swing for Mountain, the Blue Handball/Scallop Shell/Dumbbell for Waterfront, and the Round Cactus/Arabian Tent for Desert. Using these, ideally in combination with printer rateups, will ensure at least moderate EXP gain.

Unique Behavior

• タイヤで遊ぶ (Playing with tires) - Stands atop the second tier of the Tire Pyramid, throwing the yellow tire in the air and catching it.
