オオジカともいわれ、体高で2m以上、角も2m以上、体重は800kg以上のものもいる、シカ科最大最強の種です。泳ぎも得意で、水生植物を食べたり体を冷やすために、湖に入ることもあります。 「ゆったりしてる、堂々としてるってよくいわれる。”森の王”なんて呼ばれることもある。確かに時間を気にしたことはあまりないし、慌てることも少ないかな。でも、王なんてガラじゃないよ。ボクは今の時間、今の空気をじっと感じていたいだけなんだ」

This animal, also known as the elk, is the largest and strongest member of the deer family; with some specimens exceeding 2 meters in height, 2 meters in horn size, and 800 kilograms in body weight. It is also proficient at swimming, and will enter lakes to cool its body and consume aquatic plants. "I'm often said to be relaxed and dignified. I've been called 'King of the Forest', too. Maybe it's true that I don't worry much about time, and I'm rarely in a hurry. But I don't have what it takes to be a king. I just want to focus on feeling this moment, and this atmosphere."

How to Encounter

Moose has an abnormally low encounter rate despite being a fairly significant non-UMA Friend. Typically she can be encountered more easily in the Savanna area, especially with the Cellien Bag (which can trigger her unique behavior) and the Turtle Boat (primarily an Aardwolf rateup but still very effective). The Bear Face Cutout is an optimum Waterfront option. Using the Small Tree Trunks and Heart Floatie (currently unavailable) seems to increase the encounter rate a bit. She also seems to have a slightly higher encounter rate using the Wooden Table in the Mountain Area.
