European Cave Lion is a Friend who appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion. She was the second Friend added to the game after 1.6.0, and the eighty-fifth Friend added overall.

更新世(約258万年前〜約1万年前)に生息していた、原始的なライオンの一種です。現在のライオンより大きく、たてがみや尾の房は無かったといわれています。氷河期には洞穴で暮らしていたようです。2017年9月にロシアの永久凍土で、とても良い保存状態の赤ちゃんミイラが発見され、今後の研究に大きな期待が持たれています。 「オレはずいぶん長くいろんな連中見てきたけど、サーベルタイガーとかさ。お料理〜なんつってっけど、昔はけっこう大胆だったんだぜ。あとアイツな。「ヒト」ってやつはおもろかったな。洞窟の壁にオレの姿をうつしちゃうんだぜ。すっげーよ。元気かな、あいつら。またうつしてもらいてーよ」	For a long time I saw lot of people, like Smilodon. She said she's cooking now but in the past she's pretty daring. Also them. The one who called "human" is interesting. They draw me on the cave's wall. They're amazing. I wonder if they're doing well. I want them to draw me again

How to Encounter

The items added in European Cave Lion's update are the Mysterious Cave and the Dinosaur Fossil.
