Eurasian Eagle-Owl is a bird Friend who first appeared in Episode 7 - Japari Library of the Kemono Friends anime.
Personality
Eurasian Eagle-Owl also known as the assistant share personality traits with Northern White-Faced Owl, the professor. They are famous for their wide knowledge as a Friend. They proudly consider themselves as wise and get highly defensive when a Friend say the opposite.
Role in the Plot
Episode 7 - Japari Library
Eurasian Eagle-Owl first meet Kaban and Serval outside the Library, the assistant and the professor Northern White-Faced Owl are known as the wisest Friends of Japari Park, they maintain the library and answer the questions of the Friends who need help about their identity. They are responsible of the quiz settled in the forest. After hearing Kaban's request, Eurasian Eagle-Owl decides to help her only if they accomplish their cooking challenge. Both owls stay together as spectators during the challenge until the time limit reach the end.
Afterwards, Eurasian Eagle-Owl and Northern White-Faced Owl are ready to eat the dish of Kaban, however the spiciness disgusted and scared them at first. Without control, they are hooked to the taste, continue to eat the dish and accept to answer their question.
Episode 9 - Snowy Mountains Area
Eurasian Eagle-Owl and Northern White-Faced Owl encounter Fennec Fox and Raccoon who warned them about Kaban's next destination near the Restricted Area.
Episode 12 - Amusement Park
Eurasian Eagle-Owl and Northern White-Faced Owl appear in the collective fight to help Serval who was helpless against the Black Cerulean and bring the Friends that Kaban and Serval met during their adventures. She participates at the party for celebrating Kaban's return.
Relationships
Northern White-Faced
Eurasian Eagle-Owl and Northern White-Faced are inseparable Friends who act and talk almost identically. They share their knowledge of the library together and help the Friends who needs answers to their issues.
