Aardwolf was a minor Friend that was first heard in Episode 1 - Savanna Area, and seen as an animal in Episode 12 - Amusement Park.
Personality
Aardwolf's personality is unknown; she is never seen interacting with other friends.
Role in the Plot
Episode 1 - Savanna Area
Aardwolf debuts off-screen in Episode 1, being eaten by a large Cellien at the gate separating the Savanna Area and the Jungle Area. Serval hears her screaming, but by the time she and Kaban arrive, Aardwolf is nowhere to be found.
Episode 12 - Amusement Park
Aardwolf appears very briefly in animal form in the middle of Episode 12. Assuming the anime to be true to lore, her reversion to an animal indicates she was killed by the Cellien in Episode 1.
Trivia
- Aardwolf shares the same Japanese voice actor as Hippo, both being voiced by the same person. While in the English dub, however, they are voiced by different people.
- This isn't the first time Aardwolf has been voiced by Haruka Terui, before KF3 she had also voiced Aardwolf in the 2015 mobile game. She also voiced many other characters in the original Nexon game, including; Crested Ibis, Moose, Margay, Nine-Tailed Fox, Indian Elephant, and Southern Sea Otter.
