Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey is a Friend who first appears in Episode 11 - Cellien of the Kemono Friends anime.
Personality
Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey is a Cellien huntress with a kind and protective nature. During her first encounter with Kaban and Serval, she rescues the duo and urges them to be careful in the Restricted Area.
It appears that she is fairly receptive to others' feelings, being able to sense the true feelings behind Brown Bear's cold dismissal of Kaban and Serval.
Role in the Plot
Episode 11 - Cellien
Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey saves Kaban and Serval from a Cellien attack during her first appearance in the anime. After introducing herself, she begins to lead them to safety. Along the way, she explains to the pair that Celliens are capable of consuming Sandstar.
After parting ways with Kaban and Serval, she discovers the footsteps of the Black Cellien and decides to pursue it alongside Brown Bear. She launches an attack on the Cellien with Brown Bear and African Wild Dog, but she is defeated by it and loses consciousness. When she comes back to her senses, she is able to regroup with the other Friends, and helps to formulate a battle plan against the Cellien threat.
Episode 12 - Amusement Park
Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey appears in the collective fight against the Black Cellien to rescue Kaban. She is also seen searching for Lucky's remains and later participating in Kaban's party.
Relationships
Brown Bear
It appears that the two Friends are fairly close, sporting a history of many hard battles endured together. When Brown Bear angrily dismisses Kaban and Serval, Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey infers that this is only because she doesn't want them to get hurt, a claim which her friend is unable to deny.
African Wild Dog
African Wild Dog is a member of Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey's Cellien hunting party.
