Eurasian Eagle-Owl is a Friend that appears in Kemono Friends Kingdom. In the English release of the game, the hyphen is erroneously omitted, thus she is referred to as Eurasian Eagle Owl.
Personality
“I wish to savor all the knowledge in the world.”
—Eurasian Eagle-Owl's profile
Eurasian Eagle-Owl is the trusty assistant to Doctor Northern White-Faced Owl, serving as her aide in maintaining the Library and sharing its knowledge with other Friends. Eurasian Eagle-Owl can often be found running errands across Kingdom for the owls' research projects, but her favorite place to be is the Library; she would spend every day in its halls, were it not for the Doctor kicking her out to get fresh air and food. Eurasian Eagle-Owl begrudgingly obliges this, but only wishes knowledge alone could sustain her body- she is known to get so invested in books and research that she forgets to eat for days at a time, leading other Friends to grow frustrated at her recklessness.
Eurasian Eagle-Owl is notoriously aloof, and generally believes herself and the Doctor to be wiser than other Friends, but she does not see herself as above them; she enjoys good company and is always willing to lend a hand to those in need. She often helps curious Friends to navigate the Library, gladly putting down one of the books she so treasures to help a Friend find a book of their own. She can also be found teaching reading skills to those less literate of Friends.
Her favorite dish is curry with rice- but as most Friends do, she fears fire. This generally prevents her from cooking it herself; as such, she will be grateful to anyone who can help her prepare a plate, even if she shows it in her own, dialed-back way.

Northern White-Faced Owl

Toxicology Research Team
Eurasian Eagle-Owl is a member of the Toxicology Research Team alongside Northern White-Faced Owl, Indian Peafowl, and King Cobra. The mission of the group is to help show other Friends the positive points of King Cobra's infamously potent venom, so as to not be afraid of her.

Strategy
Eurasian Eagle-Owl is a great supporter on Catapult teams, being one of the only Friends to provide pure Catapult DMG and swiftly outpacing early-game Friends such as Grey Wolf in the role of Catapult-team Support Friend. While her use can continue into the late game, she can struggle to compete with 6-Star Support Friends at this level of play.
- Her rare ability to make enemy Cores appear gives her synergy with Friends who benefit from Core strikes, including her Combo partner Northern White-Faced Owl, and other Catapult Assaulter Friends such as Serval.
- This ability can be inconsistent before Eurasian Eagle-Owl has unlocked any of her Breakthroughs; her Habit 1, "Ingenious Insight", only contributes a 30% activation chance on its own. Acquiring her Breakthrough 1 can bring this rate up to an effective 70%, and her Breakthrough 5 can add even further consistency.
- Eurasian Eagle-Owl's Habit 2, "Outsmart It!", shines on stages full of enemies and against multi-segmented bosses. With her Miracle striking each enemy up to 5 times, it is possible for her Catapult DMG buff to increase more than twofold.
- Because this Habit works by granting numerous +16% buffs rather than one large buff, it has further excellent synergy with the aforementioned Northern White-Faced Owl and Serval, as these particular Friends possess Habits which increase each individual Catapult DMG buff they receive.
- While Eurasian Eagle-Owl's Habit 2 will need to activate four or more times to surpass her base increase, this is easily achieved on stages where she has numerous targets. Its use is not recommended when fighting Bosses with only one point of attack.
- Eurasian Eagle-Owl is often outclassed by Chinese White Dolphin, whose Crit-rate buff can provide stunning damage numbers Eurasian Eagle-Owl cannot typically match. Although the two can be used together on a team, they also frequently compete for a team slot; when this happens, Chinese White Dolphin is oft preferred.
- Although Eurasian Eagle-Owl can be valuable on stages with multi-segmented Bosses or numerous enemies, Chinese White Dolphin's superior buffing abilities can often make her a better choice even in these instances.
- Even Eurasian Eagle-Owl's rare ability to generate Cores on enemies is not enough to give her a solid edge, as Chinese White Dolphin gains this ability with her first Breakthrough.
- Although Eurasian Eagle-Owl can be valuable on stages with multi-segmented Bosses or numerous enemies, Chinese White Dolphin's superior buffing abilities can often make her a better choice even in these instances.
- Because Eurasian Eagle-Owl's Breakthrough 1 and 5 effects only activate against enemies who have been unlocked in the player's Gallery, they will not activate against the Lord of Ice boss, who is absent from the Gallery due either to a bug or a lack of developer input.
Profile
Trivia
- The nickname used for her by Northern White-Faced Owl- "Lil' Assistant"- plays on the contrast between the power dynamic between the two Friends and the sizes of their respective species. While the Eurasian eagle-owl is one of the largest known owl species on Earth, the northern white-faced owl is among the smallest- yet it is the Friend Eurasian Eagle-Owl who answers to the Friend Northern White-Faced Owl.
