Gentoo Penguin, nicknamed Gean, appears as a member of the Penguins Performance Project in Episode 8 - PPP Live.
Personality
Described by Margay as an "orthodox idol", Gean is a soft-spoken and kind penguin Friend who is supportive and respectful to her fellow idols. She speaks proper, formal Japanese even to her closest friends and always gives her best effort.
She is timid despite her celebrity status, and according to Royal Penguin she folds easily under pressure. Nevertheless, she enjoys singing and dancing very much.
Role in the Plot
Episode 8 - PPP Live
Gean is present with the other four members of PPP during their performance in the Waterfront Area. When introducing herself on stage with the other penguin idols, she initially misses the timing of her cue, becoming visibly startled when called upon.
Later in the episode, when practicing the choreography for Ōzora Dreamer, she makes a misstep and falls onto her face, before being scolded by Princess. She is present to meet Kaban, Serval and Margay when they pay a backstage visit, becoming acquainted with them together with the other penguins. Later in the episode, when Princess becomes upset over being the first Royal Penguin included in P.P.P., she grows worried and tries to offer her help.
Once the unit is back together, she performs Ōzora Dreamer on stage for all of the Friends gathered in the Waterfront Area.
Episode 9 - Snowy Mountains Area
Gean and the other penguins speak with Raccoon and Fennec Fox about Kaban's whereabouts.
Episode 12 - Amusement Park
All five members of P.P.P., including Gean, show up in the final battle against the Black Cellien in order to rescue Kaban. She assists in the final battle using slaps reminiscent of how actual penguins fight.

Gean is a loyal member of the Penguins Performance Project. She sings and dances alongside her fellow idols, and has expressed her fondness for both the activity and their dynamic as a unit.
