Personality
Shoebill is quiet and has a tendency to stare at others often, a habit that she claims is involuntary. When speaking, she is rather soft-spoken, polite, and expresses a desire to stop her staring and other 'creepy' behavior. It also appears that she has seen, heard of, or otherwise studied humans before as she expresses knowledge of them; however, she does not know the area that they would presumably live in.
Role in the Plot
Episode 6 - Plains
Shoebill usually stared at Kaban and Serval and did not play much of an active role until the end, where she suggested that Kaban may be a human.
Episode 7 - Japari Library
Before Kaban and Serval left to continue their journey to the library Shoebill explained her staring habits and her knowledge of what humans did.
Episode 12 - Amusement Park
Shoebill helped the other friends by participating in the fight against the Black Cellien.
