African Wild Dog is a Friend who first appeared in Episode 11 - Cellien of the Kemono Friends anime.
Personality
A member of Japari Park's Cellien Hunter group, African Wild Dog uses her keen senses to analyze situations and detect looming danger. Unlike her teammates, she doesn't wield a tool, opting to fight with her claws. She is seen to be somewhat timid, but nonetheless loyal.
Role in the Plot
Episode 11 - Cellien
African Wild Dog is first seen launching an assault on the Black Cellien alongside Brown Bear and Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey. After Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey is hurt, the team assesses that their foe is much too powerful to handle with conventional tactics, and they retreat together to regroup and plan for their next encounter.
Episode 12 - Amusement Park
After African Wild Dog and the others save Serval from the accident, she guards the ship alongside Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey until the Black Cellien is drawn by its light. She assists at the scene when Kaban regains her initial form. At the end of the episode, she is seen searching for Lucky's remains and later participating in Kaban's party.
