鳥類ですがヒナにはミルクを与えます。喉の奥にある「そのう」から分泌されるため誰でもミルクが出せて、口移しで飲ませます。羽の色の元になる赤い色素が含まれているため、色は真っ赤です。 「なんで水辺でよく片足立ちしているのかですって？それは水の中だと冷えちゃうから、体温を奪われにくくするためよ。ほら、ひとつ腎くなったら、栄養たっぷりな特製フラミンゴミルク飲んで寝なさいよね」	{{{endescription}}}
