砂漠や乾燥地帯で暮らしています。体長３０～４０ｃｍ、体重１～２ｋｇとイヌ科最小ですが、耳は最大です。この大きな耳は体の熱を逃がすだけでなく、近づく敵の音や砂の中の獲物を探すにも役立ちます。 「フェネックだよ。耳が大きいだろ？これはいろいろと便利なんだ。それにしても、砂漠の暮らしってのは大変なんだけどさぁ、これも慣れれば悪くないし、どんな状況でもなんとかなる、って思えちゃうんだよね。体は小さいけど、砂漠でしっかり生きてるってわけ」

Generally lives in the desert and some arid regions. Its body length being about 30 and 40 centimeters long and its body weight approximately being between 1 and 2 kilograms makes it the smallest member of the Canidae family, although they possess the greatest ears in terms of size; these ears not only let the animal release its body heat to the exterior, but it also serves the purpose of detecting the sounds of approaching threats and allows it to search for its own prey by hearing through the sand around it. "I'm Fennec〜 These ears are quite big, don't you think? They are very useful for many things! But anyway, living in the desert is quite the pain but once you get the hang of it, it's not that bad! And no matter what I may go through, I believe I'll be able to handle it, you know? You see, my body may be small, but is strong enough to survive in these desert lands."

How to Encounter

Fennec Fox, being one of the most prominent Friends across all media, can also be encountered very often in all areas. She spawns at a large variety of Playthings, and at least somewhat often in all areas which leaves players with no issues encountering her and leveling her up at all.

Savanna - One of her common areas, spawning on many cheap items. The Basket also works, simultaneously providing a chance for Thomson's Gazelle.

Mountain - Probably her most common area; her UB Music Box goes here, as does the Seesaw.

Waterfront - The Wooden Box is cheap to craft. A lesser base spawn rate than that of Savanna or Mountain.

Jungle - No rateups, but has a mild base chance like all commons.

Desert - Spawns regularly, but has no rateups apart from the hard-to-get Sandcastle and Mini Piano.

Ocean - Moderate spawn rate, has a rateup on the craftable Jetski.
