Palcoarai-san is a Friend based on Raccoon and Parcoala™ for a collaboration with Parco, being designed alongside Valcoara and Palcoarai-san2.
Appearance
Palcoarai-san is very similar to Raccoon, sporting a very similar face, hairstyle, and outfit. Unlike Raccoon, Palcoarai-san has pure white hair with a dark red task on her center bangs, and has large, round red ears with a checkered pattern, differing greatly from the raccoon ears seen on her counterpart. She also has a round, dark blue tail rather than a raccoon's tail. The dark red task, round ears, and blue tail are meant to evoke Parcoala™, the mascot of the Parco company.
Her outfit is virtually identical to Raccoon's save for its color; her blouse, skirt, and shoes are all of the same style, but in pure white, and the bow on her neck is red with a checkered pattern instead of black. She wears a fluffy white ruff around her neck, much like the original Friend. Absent are the stockings and long gloves worn by Raccoon; Palcoarai-san instead wears white, elbow-length gloves and white tube socks with red, checker-patterned ribbons tied at their tops.

Parcoala™ is the mascot of Parco, a Tokyo-based retailer with department stores across Japan. The company also works in real estate. Parcoala™ is a white plush-like koala with red, checker-patterned ears, a blue tail, a dark red nose, and round, dark red eyes. Parcoala™ is often depicted with an open-mouthed, surprised expression.
