A Silver Fox Friend appears in Chapter 14 of the Kemono Friends Manga. In her only appearance, she joins the group trip to the Riukiu area and helps translate what Shisa Right says for everyone.

Role in the Plot
Silver Fox accompanies Nana, Serval, and Ezo Red Fox on their group trip to the Riukiu area. When their shisa guides appear and greet everyone in Okinawan, Nana is confused about what was said and Silver Fox eagerly volunteers to translate. She says that Shisa Right greeted them by saying "Great, more happy-go-lucky idiots turning up. The nerve!" Nana expresses doubt over the translation and Silver Fox reveals that they actually said is "Welcome!" "Hello." and "Nice to meet you." Silver Fox goes on to say that "Stiff translations aren't my thing." Nana thanks the shisas for being their guides and Shisa Right replies in Okinawan. Silver Fox translates the reply as "It's a pain in the butt, but if I must, I'll let you rely on me." Nana things to herself that the translation must be wrong and doesn't say anything.
