“If you're late, let me take care of it! Using my sprint, dash, running flat out and stray away from the road specialty, I will make sure that you'll arrive on time no matter where's the place you're going to be late for! Coyote, with that speed you're going to be late. Pardon me, but I gotta go!”
—Greater Roadrunner's introduction
Greater Roadrunner is a type of Friend that appeared in the original Kemono Friends mobile game.
Appearance
Greater Roadrunner's old appearance, used in her Nexon debut, was largely centered around the animal's brown and white-spotted plumage; she had back-length hair and wears a jacket patterned in this manner, with areas of her hair at the front and the chest area of her jacket being tinged a lighter yellow-brown.
Her hair was littered with further coloration details such slight reddish-brown spotting above the sides of her forehead, black fading at the bottom of her hair, and head-wings distinguished by their white tips. and two short tufts of white and orange hair above her ears round out the hair details. Her eyes are yellow in color.
Her jacket faded to black at the cuffs, with a blue bowtie and tan shorts running to beige at the hem. Under these were white leggings, and blue/white sneakers with bows tied in the laces.
Her redesign incorporates significant changes, with an overall 'sportier' design. Her jacket, shorts and leggings have been replaced with a blue/cyan t-shirt and beige running spats. Her sneakers are no longer blue, and are worn with baggy socks. Her hair also substantially changed, cropped to shoulder-level and being largely a lighter brown colour with darker brown/black highlights. The previously frequent spotting is now confined to these highlights, and she also sports a mohawk-like flare on the top of her hair. She wears a cyan watch, and is curiously shown chewing on a piece of toast.

In Real Life
The greater roadrunner is a long-legged bird in the cuckoo family, the largest of these in the Americas. It is found in the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. While capable of limited flight, these birds spent much of their time on the ground, and can run at up to speeds of 32km/h; cases of greater roadrunners reaching 42km/h have been reported, the fastest running speed recorded for a flying bird. Their diet consists of a variety of small animals, particularly snakes and lizards, which they subdue by snaring them in their beak and slamming them into the ground.
Trivia
- Greater Roadrunner was featured as as a major cartoon character, Road Runner, with the coyote named as Wile E. Coyote in in the animated cartoons series, Looney Tunes. The "Beep!" written on Roadrunner's shirt in her redesigned appearance is a reference to the cartoon character who frequently says "Beep beep!" as their sole line of dialogue.
- The piece of toast in the redesigned appearance is likely a reference to a shojo trope, where a tardy character is shown running with a piece of toast in their mouth.
