White Rhinoceros' cautious attitude and unyielding defense make her perfectly suited for her role as the Plains Patrol's token defender, keeping an eye out for trouble before it strikes and weathering hard hits for her companions if danger does rear its head. Though she can be cold towards strangers, she quickly warms up once that person's nature and intentions become known to her, revealing a Friend who likes to make the most of the peaceful times she strives to protect. She isn't distrusting or unsociable by her nature; she simply has no intention of allowing any threat to reach the Friends of the Plains Area, and anyone who tries to cause them harm will have to answer to her mighty spear.

In battle, White Rhinoceros is no blind, charging brute; she is observant and tactical, identifying the weak points of an enemy before launching a swift, targeted attack that ends many a fight in seconds.

Role in the Plot

Main Story

As a member of the Plains Patrol, White Rhinoceros is among the Friends who stops Jinri's party before they can enter the Plains Village.

Black Rhinoceros

Black Rhinoceros treats White Rhinoceros like a princess, calling her Lady White Rhinoceros and dedicating herself to her aid. Though the two rhinos are good friends, White Rhinoceros has little interest in Black Rhinoceros' overabundance of affection and would prefer that her dark-clad companion not put herself in harm's way on her behalf.

Plains Patrol

White Rhinoceros is a core member of the Plains Patrol, alongside Aurochs and Arabian Oryx. They were previously led by King Cheetah, but in her absence White Rhinoceros rotates in and out of leadership duty with her aforementioned fellow core Patrol members.

Upon using her Miracle, White Rhinoceros uses her spear to shake the ground, sweeping all enemies and dealing damage equal to 270% (PATK) + 181% (PDEF) Catapult ATK to all enemies over 4 attacks. Awaken Tier 2: Stamina Drain speed no longer scales with PDEF.

Strategy

White Rhinoceros is an excellent non-Guard tank character, but you must be wary that until her Awakening 2, her high defense also severely limits her usefulness as an attacker as it worsens her Stamina Drain. It is recommended to pair her with Black Rhinoceros to mitigate the effects of Stamina Drain. With low base Speed, she can only naturally last two turns in combat before seeing losses to her damage output. Using Black Rhino's COMBO, White Rhino is best used early to gain additional ATK.

Because her Miracle damage naturally increases with both PATK and PDEF, it is recommended to equip her with Albums that boost these stats, such as Scaly (PDEF) and Sharp (PATK). King is another viable option; while it is weaker at boosting each individual stat, it can boost both at once at a greater rate than Balanced, leading to a higher overall value.

At higher levels of play, namely in advanced Raids, White Rhinoceros unfortunately fails to perform on the same level as other 6-Star Splendor Group Assaulters— or really any other 6-Star Assaulters. It is generally agreed upon that White Rhinoceros is the weakest 6-Star Friend in the game overall, and is a less reliable Assaulter than even some 5-Star Friends. While her Combo bonus with Template:Black Rhinoceros/Kingdom promises strong offensive buffs for the team, suggesting a possible role for the pair as buffer-defenders, this is not generally recommended, as in doing so they would occupy team slots they do not fill better than other Friends would.
