Large-Spotted Genet, more commonly called by her nicknames Genet (ジェネット), is a Virtual Youtuber as part of the KemoV project. She is one of the five members of Kemo-V Next Project, often nicknamed, 'Kemono Rangers', or simply 'Kemoren' (けもレン), announced on July 1st, 2022.
Personality
She has a gentle personality with cat-like curiosity. She is like an elder sister of the second phase members, mature, patient and caring but also humorous and cheerful. She has a soft cute, calming voice and laughs a lot. With an extensive knowledge about classical music and a strong musical sense, she has now positioned herself as a music-oriented Vtuber (音楽特化型VTuber) of KemoV.
Greetings
She greets viewers with Kon Nya-su! (こんにゃす！). She ends her streams by saying "Bye Nya-su!" (ばいにゃす！).
Regular Streams
She usually streams around 21:00pm JST playing games or just chatting. She has a regular stream called 'Cafe Genet' (純喫茶ジェネット) at 12:00pm JST where she has casual chat with viewers and plays relaxing music. Music Commentary (楽曲解説) and Music Titbits (音楽豆知識) are her other regular streams.
Timeline
- July 1, 2022: The KemoV Next Project teaser revealed silhouettes of five new members.
- August 25, 2022: Her identity unveiled on the KemoV Park Staff Twitter alongside Geoffroy's Cat, as well as her first Tweet.
- September 1, 2022: Her debut stream.
- September 5, 2022: First gameplay stream.
- September 19, 2022: First collab with Geoffroy's Cat.
- September 26, 2022: Monetization celebration stream.
- December 1, 2022: She started her official TikiTok account and streamed for the first time on the platform.
- December 18, 2022: She performed in the 'Kemono Friends V 1stLive' with all the current KemoV members.
- February 4, 2023: She announced on stream that her channel theme will focus more on music, instruments and knowledge-based content related to the field.
- April 8, 2023: Membership of her Youtube channel started.
Trivia
- She loves drinking coffee. She drinks sometimes.
- She is good at violin and piano, and has a good knowledge about classical music and its history as well as music theory. She gets very excited whenever discussing about related topics.
- Her fan name is "Geneta-" (じぇねったー).
- She calls superchats of her channel 'Shimeji', a type of mushroom common in Japanese cuisines. It was originated from her doodle during the earlier streams. It is associated with her ever since.
- She is left-handed.
- She created a small ferocious-looking mascot called Sonet (ソネット) based on her appearance. It appears on stream very often.
- Large-Spotted Genet was implemented in the mobile game Kemono Friends 3 some time after her Vtuber debut. However, the voice actress is different from Vtuber Large-Spotted Genet.
