Bobcat: Difference between revisions

Bobcats can live up to 10 years long at the maximum. In captivity, the maximum age increases, with the highest record being 32 years old. By the 2nd summer, Bobcats can begin breeding. However, it is possible for the females to be capable of reproduction as early as their first year. Males and females are not limited to one mate, and can mate with many other individuals. The female takes care of the kittens alone. With litters ranging from 1 to 6 kittens, they are capable of travelling with the mother as early as 3 months into their lifespans, and will leave their mother a few months after their first year.
