Passenger Pigeon
Hm? This is… … あら? ...

Crested Ibis
Ah, that's mine.

Passenger Pigeon
Crested Ibis-san, good day! That's your map? What's it for?

Crested Ibis
Yes, it is. I have it because I rarely travel, so I don’t really know much about other places.

Passenger Pigeon
Crested Ibis-san, you have a pretty narrow range of flight, don't you?

Crested Ibis
Yes. However, I also have an interest in other places. So that's why I'm using this map I got.

Passenger Pigeon
I see… … Then, how about I give you an introduction to some of these other places?

Crested Ibis
Do you know a lot about other areas?

Passenger Pigeon
Even though I don't look like it, I fly over many different places, so as long as I have memories of those areas, I think I can tell you about them. How would you like that?

Crested Ibis
In that case, please do … … As thanks, is a song alright?

Passenger Pigeon
Ah, um… … You can give me your thanks next time!

Crested Ibis
Is that so… … then let’s make sure to meet again. ...

Passenger Pigeon
Y-yes, ahahaha… … Oh my?! There's Celliens coming this way!...

Passenger Pigeon
We can't take our time talking in these conditions.

Crested Ibis
It’s dangerous to leave them alone, so we should defeat them. Will you help me?

Passenger Pigeon
Of course!
CELLIEN BATTLE - -

Crested Ibis
For the time being, things look calm.

Passenger Pigeon
Then the song won't be until next time… … (cough)! Alright, first, let's talk about this area... I'm going to explain the Desert Area to you!
Background Change: Sankai Region -

Passenger Pigeon
Its main feature is that its whole surface is covered in sand, but there are still sources of water, so you don't need to worry about dehydration.

Passenger Pigeon
Out of all of the sources of water, the largest is called Oasis No. 1.

Crested Ibis
Oasis… … Do you mean this place shown here?

Passenger Pigeon
Yes! Not only is it an important source of water for the desert, but it's also an important place for desert-dwelling people!

Crested Ibis
I see.

Passenger Pigeon
In order to protect the water, they have a barricade that they use against Celliens, but anyone else can enter the oasis freely.

Passenger Pigeon
The endlessly flowing water is famously able to make anyone who sees it feel calm. I've seen it myself, and it's true… … ...

Crested Ibis
I'd really like to see that… … Hm, it looks like the Celliens have returned. I’m curious to hear what you're going to say next, so I'll try to finish this quickly.

Passenger Pigeon
It makes me happy to hear that! I’ll try my best, too.
CELLIEN BATTLE - -

Crested Ibis
It looks like it's over… … Then, can I ask you to continue?

Passenger Pigeon
Yes. Next, I'm going to explain the waterfront area!
Background Change: Nakabe Region -

Passenger Pigeon
The main features of this area are the Amatatsu Waterfall, and several water-related sight-seeing areas.

Crested Ibis
It’s the exact opposite of the desert area.

Passenger Pigeon
The waterfront area is also rich with greenery and surrounded by trees, which keeps the temperatures nice and cool in a way ideal for outside activities. Additionally, because it's filled with high-density ionized air, it's used as a summer resort quite often!

Crested Ibis
Hm... I wonder what this forest is?

Passenger Pigeon
It's called the Silent Forest. It’s a bit dangerous for a summer resort.

Crested Ibis
But it looks like the kind of place you would go if you like adventuring.

Passenger Pigeon
Hehe, maybe so! Just the name alone gives it a mystical impression.

Crested Ibis
Maybe you love it just because of the danger factor, or something like that... what's this place here? ... ...
Background Change: Hokkai Region -

Passenger Pigeon
That's the snowfield area. It’s a beautiful place covered in snow. Here… … ...

Crested Ibis
Wait. The Celliens are coming back, it seems.

Passenger Pigeon
We can’t let that happen. I won't let them interrupt us!
CELLIEN BATTLE - -

Passenger Pigeon
… … It looks like there's no more Celliens in the area. ... ...

Crested Ibis
That’s good. Then, let's keep going… … Ah. ...
Background Change: An'in Region -

Passenger Pigeon
It seems like the map's been torn… … ...

Crested Ibis
How unfortunate... we should stop for today.

Passenger Pigeon
Yes... however, if I had explained everything, some of the fun of the journey would be lost.

Crested Ibis
A journey… … I want to travel to so many kinds of places, but there are also dangerous places, too. So wouldn't that mean it's better to gather a wealth of information beforehand? ...。

Passenger Pigeon
Um… … It's true that because dangerous places exist, it's important to be informed about them. ...

Passenger Pigeon
But it only serves as a convenience...the important part of the journey is found elsewhere.

Crested Ibis
What's the important part?

Passenger Pigeon
Friends that you can travel together with!

Crested Ibis
Friends?

Passenger Pigeon
Yes! Even if you already know about your destination, I think you have to enjoy your trip to the fullest. The true pleasure of traveling is the impact of seeing something with your own eyes for the first time, even things no one else has seen before... ...

Passenger Pigeon
Not just that, but I think experiencing an unexpected situation can be interesting as well! The fun within those tangible experiences and memories can’t be felt from just information. If you only care about learning, your impression from the real thing will be weaker.

Crested Ibis
Perhaps that's true, if you think so...

Passenger Pigeon
Yes… … It’s okay to travel alone, but it’s better to travel with your special friends and share the feelings of those moments together. I think that this is the most important part of having fun while traveling. ... ...

Passenger Pigeon
If you have friends with you, no matter where you go, you'll have fun!

Crested Ibis
I would also like to visit many kinds of places with someone, someday… … ...

Passenger Pigeon
Let’s go together. I want to go to a lot of different places with you, Crested Ibis-san!

Crested Ibis
… … Yes. You’re right. Let’s go together. ... ...

Passenger Pigeon
Hehe. It looks like it's going to be more fun this way.

Crested Ibis
Can I ask for your guidance?... I'm relying on you.

Passenger Pigeon
Allow me! I will guide you, no matter where it is!

Trivia

  • The high-density ionized air of the Nakabe Region is related to negative air ionization therapy, a pseudoscientific treatment proposed for Seasonal Affective Disorder and depression under the idea that it could improve general mood. However, the results of testing have found little evidence for its effectiveness.
