Common Raccoon, more commonly referred to as Arai-san is a major character in the Kemono Friends anime.
Personality
Arai-san can be defined as an impulsive, energetic Friend that runs every time towards her objective without stopping to think. Not very wise but strong-willed, staying true to her conviction to retrieve the hat that was stolen from her. She appears to have a strong sense of justice, by wanting to save the park from danger, and an equally passionate admiration for those that commit heroic acts.
Role in the Plot
She chases a rogue hat wearing person who accidentally turns out to be her hero.

Fennec Fox
Fennec Fox is a great friend of Arai-san, keeping her close at all times. She relies on Fennec a lot, asking her about information she usually forgets, and admires her abilities.
