Strength Contest is the PvP mode in Kemono Friends 3. It is unlocked after completing Main Story Chapter 2-12. The game is divided in 2 modes, Regular Training (いつものくんれん), and a limited-time auto PvP mode, Special Training (とくべつくんれん).
Descriptions
This mode is not Live PvP, but rather the player is matched up against other players' teams that are controlled by AI. Both PvP mode max rank are 30. PvP uses a Stamina system, which has a max of 9 (max 5 during early KF3 release) and regenerates at a rate of 1 per hour. There's a button which toggles the use of stamina at normal or 3x rate, which provides 3x normal rewards (merely more time efficient). Players can choose between Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty opponents, which are (loosely) determined by Kemostatus relative to the player. The battle only last for 10 turns and once 10 turns already passed, the winner will be decided based on who deal most of damages.
Regular Training
The Regular Training season last for 2 months. When a season ends, rank will be reset and players start around 10 rank lower of their previous end of season rank. Each PvP season has different Terrain. The faster your team winning the battle, the more PvP exp points you will get. Regardless any difficulties you always rewarded with 100 medal points but if you beat Champion team you rewarded with 1100 medal points instead.

Special Training
Unlike the Regular Training, in Special Training your team can only be controlled by AI and you can assign a special skill which is exclusive to this mode. The total plasm in your team decides who will take the first move, if your total plasm is higher or same with your opponent, your team get the first move and if your total plasm is lower than your opponent, your opponent get the first move. Special Training always uses default terrain. The PvP exp point you get in this mode don't change regardless the turns you win the battle. It is considered as the worst event by players because it give the lowest amount of kirakiras out of all events and AI keep making poor decisions to attack.

- The most cost-effective team, as long they have at least 2 photo slots, this team ready is for battle.
- This team can wipe out majority of opponent team in 1-2 turns.
- Very good in Special Training mode because they never attack the wrong target with their AOE attack.
Weakness:
- Defensive team counters this team because AOE Beat attack has low damage but this no longer the case if you add
to your team because her standby effect remove all defense buff from all her opponents which let you tear appart Defensive team like wet paper.
- Friends with ability reduce damage taken from AOE attack can beat this team easily.

- None
Tips & Trick
- At the start of new Regular Training season or Special Training Event, quickly fight the hard opponents with x3 stamina usage. Once PvP stamina depleted to 0, make sure to return to that screen in less than 1 hour and do not close the game because the enemy team at that time are still NPC or weak team which help you rank up faster. The enemy team will be changed for every 1 hour after entering PvP screen.
- If all of your opponents team list are just way too strong for your team, do not engage any battle with any of them and wait for 1 hour before the list get changed however if your stamina already maxed when that happen, play the lowest difficulty opponent but turn off the x3 stamina usage.
- Pay attention to your opponents photo slots before deciding for battle, avoid fighting team that have full photo slots.
- During Special Training, you must force close the game when AI makes poor choice of attacks or when RNG not on your side.
- Try remember your opponents team as well their photo slots in order to know easy win.
- Having all of your team equipped with Captaaain! photo is very useful to provide survivalbility.
- Do not fight defensive team because that team very annoying to deal with.
- Avoid fighting against
and
(If the terrain is Savannah) because they give endure a fatal hit status to her entire teammates.
- Avoid fighting against
in Special Training mode because her standby removes all attack buffs from her entire opponents and her high plasm makes her team able to move faster.
