Solar Power System
Solar Power System (Japanese:おひさまシステム Hepburn: Ohisama Shisutemu) is a method of generating electricity that provides power for Japari Park.
The solar panels themselves appeared in the first season of the anime, but as a less important element. It is only in the Stage Play series that they are treated as an important narrative element. In the Stage Play series, solar power generation provides all the electricity for Japari Park. However, it is not clear whether other series will have the same setup.
It was revealed that the source of power for the Japari Bus batteries is a Solar Power System. Japari Café is also powered by the same solar power system, and it was described that the lights and water heater cannot be used while the batteries are being recharged.
Although it does not appear as a story element, we can confirm that solar panels have been installed at Lodge Campo.
Woolly Mammoth appears as Friends investigating Solar Power Systems.
This stage depicts how the heavy snowfall causes the Solar Power System to malfunction, affecting the production of Japari Bun.
This stage depicts how a falling rock damages a solar panel and disrupts the power supply for Japari Park. It also depicts the transition to wind power as the final solution.
