Ocelot's Character Quest is a quest in the original Kemono Friends mobile game centered around Ocelot.

Summary

The story opens in the An'in Region of Japari Park, where Serval spots something in the water and tells the protagonist to come and see. Immediately, Ocelot appears, splashing out of the water and surprising Serval. Ocelot, confused, asks why the two of them are so surprised, and Serval retorts that of course they would be surprised if Ocelot suddenly appeared out of the water. Ocelot says that she is just swimming, as the weather is perfect for it, and the water seems cool compared to the hot sun. Mirai interjects that Ocelots are rare among cats, in that they are good swimmers. Ocelot responds by saying she is often called different from others in the Nyan Nyan Family, and Serval nervously agrees, mentioning that she couldn't enter the water the way Ocelot does.

Ocelot curiously asks if this is true, since she's just doing what she usually does. However, before anyone can answer, she stops and notices an unusual smell. Mirai interjects once more, noting that like other cats, Ocelots have excellent eyesight and a sensitive nose, pondering what Ocelot has found. Serval hears a familiar sound, and as the source of the sound and scent approaches, Serval confirms that the cause is a Cellien, warning the protagonist to be cautious, and heads into battle to defeat it. After the fight, Serval laments that everyone is now covered in dust, and Ocelot suggests washing it off in the river, asking her to play with her in the water.

Serval is unwilling to go into the water, but makes an attempt, during which Ocelot pushes Serval into the water, surprising her. Ocelot calls Serval immature, annoying her, but the two suddenly hear a loud noise, which Ocelot recognizes as another Cellien. After the fight, Serval is upset, saying that not only did she get wet, she was attacked by Celliens, sadly stating that when it rains, it pours. Ocelot, confused, asks if Serval likes being stepped on, wondering if Serval could also be considered different from others in the Nyan Nyan Family. Serval rejects this, and Ocelot tells her not to worry, as she is also called different, but Serval doubles down and assures her that she does not have that kind of hobby.

Mirai appears, informing everyone that Celliens are coming once more, and Ocelot happily informs Serval that she has an opportunity to get stepped on and hurt once again. Serval once again tries and fails to convince Ocelot she has no interest in such things. The group fights the Cellien, and after emerging victorious, Serval's body is now covered in mud, and Ocelot suggests cleaning it with water, like before. Serval decides that perhaps now is a good time to try swimming, since it is so hot out.

Ocelot, hearing this, invites Serval to the water. After entering the water, she asks Ocelot to teach her how to swim. Ocelot dives into the water, and tries to teach Serval how to do a slow swimming technique, but is much faster than Serval, overwhelming her. Ocelot attempts to move slower by doing a breaststroke, but still outpaces Serval heavily. She then attempts a butterfly technique, impressing Mirai, but Serval interjects, saying that Ocelot's technique is too difficult for her. Ocelot tells her that it is okay, as she will surely be able to do it eventually, but Serval admits that she would be okay with not learning how to swim after all.
