Mountain Hare appeared as a minor character during the original Kemono Friends mobile game.
Personality
She has an exceedingly competitive personality, she hates losing, and loves talking about her “rival,” European Hare. She prioritizes her hair over everything, even her own wellbeing. She is very oblivious, being completely unaware of European Hare’s obsession with her. Despite her shallowness, she thinks very highly of her little sister Arctic Hare, the two having and strong bond and she would do anything to make her happy. She uses 私 (watashi) to refer to herself.
Self-Introduction
I was born in the northern regions, so I can handle snow fields just fine. Arctic Hare is like a little sister to me. She's so cute, soft, and fluffy~ Oh, and... European Hare is my rival! We're going to have a competition today where we bet our best beds. I'm not gonna lose!
Role in the Plot
Arctic Hare's Character Quest
Mountain Hare appears and joins in with Arctic Hare and Serval, who are playing in the snow, before settling down inside of a snow hut and sharing food together.
European Hare's Character Quest
Mountain Hare has a greater role in European Hare's quest, where she arrives right after European Hare to a line where the first 100 people will receive a special limited-time premium carrot flavored Japari Bun. However, 99 people are already in line, so the two compete in a rabbit jumping contest to see who gets the Bun. Mountain Hare is confident, but trips during the competition and ends up losing. As a result, after the match, she goes to a watering hole to cry alone, though European Hare secretly follows her.

European Hare
European Hare has an unhealthy obsession towards her, although Mountain Hare doesn't realize this and considers European Hare as her rival. She likes telling others about how she and European Hare have always been rivals from a long time ago.
Arctic Hare
She thinks of Arctic Hare as her own little sister.
Honduran White Bat
Honduran White Bat wants to become friends with her, but is afraid that others would think that she has an ulterior motive behind it.
