The Waterfront Area (Japanese:水辺エリア Hepburn:Mizube Eria) is a type of Area found in Japari Park.
Overview
The Waterfront Area is the area around the shore of an ocean, pond, lake, river, or swamp.
The Nakabe Region used to be a Waterfront Area area. However, due to the influence of Sandstar, Waterfront Area also exist in the Kyōshū Region and Riukiu Region.
Depending on the media, it may also be called Lake Shore, etc.
History
Kemono Friends (2015 Mobile Game)
In the Nexon game, the entire Nakabe Region is a Waterfront Area.
Kemono Friends (2017 Anime)

The first season of the anime featured both waterfront areas and lakeshores in the Kyōshū Region.
The lakeshore in the first season of the anime is an area centered around a lake that is said to have been dammed by a dam created by beavers.
The waterfront area, which appears in the first season of the anime, is centered around PPP's live concert venue. The live concert venue exists on the water.

In this game you can see the Lake Shore of the Riukiu Region.
Kemono Friends Pavilion
In this game, the ? generation waterfront area was introduced. This waterfront area has the characteristics of the waterfront area in the first animation season. After the update, a "Seiryu import unit" was added to the water at the back of this waterfront area. In addition, in the offline version delivered with the end of service, a second generation waterfront area background is present in one of the backgrounds on the title screen. It was probably unused.
