A Crested Porcupine friend named Yama appeared as a minor character during the original Kemono Friends mobile game.
Personality
She is very shy and the only person that she doesn't show this behavior is towards her partner Brazilian Porcupine. To suppress her shy personality she repeats saying "I'm not shy" lots of time although it seems doesn't have any effect. She thinks she has a rich emotion and because of that everyone can guess it easily.

I'm Crested Porcupine. I want to change this shy personality of mine! But if you get too much closer, just from that, I got embarrassed and become aloof! Ah, this prickly attitude can't be stopped!

She and Brazilian Porcupine are partners. They have avcombination technique but it often ends up bad to them as their quills rubs each other.
