African Bush Elephant is a Friend in Kemono Friends 3 that appears in both versions of the game.

Personality

Kind-hearted to a fault, African Bush Elephant is a beacon of warmth for Friends across the savanna. While she can be somewhat oblivious, leading to occasional unintentionally blunt or tactless words, it would be difficult for a positive attitude such as hers to stir up bad feelings in others. One of her favorite things in the world is to share physical contact with others; her "pao pao" hugs are one of a kind, and she is among those who believe that such skinship is healthy for forming and maintaining bonds.

African Bush Elephan has a fantastic memory, and knows the savanna like the back of her muffler; she has what is effectively a map of the entire area stored in her memory. She wishes to one day be as wise of a leader as a particular matriarch—a senior female elephant who leads a herd with her life experience— from her past.

Relationships

Greater Flamingo

These two are extremely close companions. When African Bush Elephant is abducted by a Cellien ambush, Greater Flamingo is distraught; she fiercely stops at nothing to ensure her friends' safe return. Once they are reunited, the first thing African Bush Elephant does upon returning to consciousness is tease her old friend.

Strategy

African Bush Elephant is an attacker who relies on her self-sustain trait and damage-mitigating standby to outpace her enemies as opposed to out-and-out damage, as her attack stat isn't particularly high. Players should choose Photos with good attack and defense bonuses to cover this weakness and ensure that she can benefit the team as a front-liner. Due to her good flags and relatively low-maintenance kit, she is a good choice to fill a slot on a Relaxed team if you don't have the 4-star Friends to create a fully decked-out composition. Players should also take note of her unique ability to infinitely self-cleanse; while it is not guaranteed to activate, it can give African Bush Elephant the edge against foes that use debuffs like Pain or Poison to wear down your team. However, it is useless against effects that disable stand-byes ( Stun, Sleep, Freeze); consider equipping her with an anti-CC photo like New Year! if you are fighting enemies that can inflict both of these types of debuffs.

It is also important to make sure that you cleanse Bravado as soon as possible if African Bush Elephant is nearing 30% HP, otherwise her trait will go to waste!
