Tufted Puffin is a Friend who appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion. She was the third Friend added to the game after 1.4.0, and the seventy-fourth Friend added overall.

エトピリカはアイヌ語で「くちばし(etu)」が「美しい(pirka)」の意味で、その名の通りオレンジ色の大きなくちばしをもち、鮮やかな飾り羽が特徴です。”花魁鳥”という別名も。水深10mぐらいまで潜水し、エサをとります。 「すぃーと飛んでぷかぷか漂う！それがエトピリカたん。水の中だって得意だよ。ね、飛んでるみたいに泳げるでしょ？あ、パフィンちゃん！今日のおやつはなあに？交換っこしようよ～！」	Flying fast and floating gently! That’s Tufted Puffin-tan. Even underwater, I’m really good at it. Hey, didn’t I swimming like if I’m flying? Ah, Puffin-chan! What’s your snack today? Let’s exchange snack~!

How to Encounter

The items added during Puffin's update were the Tropical Squid Swim Ring and the Happy Seabird Float.
