The Mule Deer is a type of deer indigenous to western North America, taxonomically related (and similar-looking) to the white-tailed deer. Their most distinctive physical trait - and the one from which their name is derived - is their large ears, similar to those of the mule. There are currently 10 valid subspecies of the mule deer, each with their own distribution areas along the west coast of North America, and in and around the Rocky Mountains.
Kemono Friends' Mule Deer appeared in the Nexon Game, her only appearance so far. She enjoys eating fruits and nuts, like her real-life counterpart, and often offers them to other Friends and the player; she believes eating food with other people makes it taste better.
