Southern Tamandua EX is an alternate Southern Tamandua Friend who appears in Kemono Friends Pavilion. She is referred to as Southern Tamandua's sister by the other Friends. She was the fourth Friend added to the game after 1.4.0, and the seventy-fifth Friend added overall.

中型のアリクイで、うまくバランスをとりながら木の枝を渡ります。アリやハチミツを細長い舌でからめとるようにして食べますが、歯はありません。かつてはナマケモノやアルマジロらとともに貧歯類という名で分類されていました。ベストのように見える黒い模様が特徴的です。 「こんにちは！普段は樹の上が多いかなぁ。けっこう器用に歩けちゃうんです。地面でアリさんをじーって見てる事もあるけどね（ツンツン）。あ、あたしの得意のポーズを見てください！（バッ！）……どう？すごくつよがってるでしょ？危なくなったら爪で引っかいちゃうんだから！」	{{{endescription}}}
