Role in the Plot
Episode 1: Beyond Memories
Along with the rest of PPP, Southern Rockhopper Penguin makes an appearance in the post-credits sketch of the first episode of season 2. The sketch opens with Suri Alpaca delivering a coffee jelly to the table where the penguin idols are sitting, prompting the group to comment on its appearance. After Royal Penguin states that the white parts of the treat look tasty, Rockhopper chimes in that the black parts of the coffee jelly look nice too. Like the rest of PPP, she reacts in shock once Humboldt Penguin begins to mix the dessert up together, but quickly shows her enthusiasm to try it out once Hululu expresses her satisfaction with the taste. Afterwards, she joins all the characters in the sketch in introducing the title of the next episode.

- Aina Aiba reprises her role as Southern Rockhopper Penguin from Season 1 as well as in Kemono Friends 3.
