Version 1.7.1

Version 1.7.1 was implemented on 2/1. It added some changes to the layout of the Attraction minigame. In general, there were now more buns spawned, in more layouts compared to beforehand. Sorting options were also added to the plaything menu, allowing items to be sorted by name or rarity in ascending or descending order.

From 2/5 until 2/6, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 4 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

Version 1.7.2

Version 1.7.2 was implemented on 2/6, consisting of bugfixes. A content update was released along with it, featuring Campo Flicker, and included two new items; the Snazzy Lodge and the Hotel Counter, the Counter being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1371 to 1379, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Campo Flicker, Reticulated Giraffe and Aardwolf.

The Attraction minigame was updated on 2/7. Players now got small amounts of coins based on their score when playing the minigame, and the cooldown of free tickets was reduced to 4 hours from 6 hours.

A Suzaku printer was active from 2/8 to 2/15 for the leadup to Valentine's Day. The previously-introduced Heart Table, Heart Teddy Bear and Heart Floatie were available as rateups again, along with 2 new items; the Heart Chocolate Cake and the Animal Cake Pop. Additionally, an event challenge was active that awarded the new Heart Flower Arch for encountering 50, 100 and 300 Friends.

From 2/12 to 2/13, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 5 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

A content update was released on 2/13. It featured Western Lowland Gorilla, and included five new items; the Big Cymbal and the Banana Bed were Gorilla's update items, the Bed being time-limited. The other three were limited rateups in an additional Suzaku printer, lasting until 2/18, in celebration of the release of Japari Beat; the items were the Japari Line Model, Everybody's Stage, and White Grand Piano.
The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1379 to 1387, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Western Lowland Gorilla, Black Leopard and Lion.
Additionally, a slew of event challenges were added, focussing on Serval, Raccoon, Fennec Fox and PPP. Players had to encounter either Serval, Raccoon or Fennec Fox a set amount of times; encounter all three at the same time; encounter any member of PPP X times; encounter all of PPP at the same time; use Serval, Raccoon or Fennec Fox in the Attraction X times; get an A rank and B rank with any of the three; use a member of PPP in the Attraction X times; and get an A rank and B rank with any PPP member.

A new item, the Whack-A-Mole, was added to the game on 2/15. It was the first new item to be added that was craftable with Attraction Coins, and the first limited 4-star item, being available for crafting for 2 months (until 4/19).

Version 1.7.3

Version 1.7.3 was implemented on 2/20. It implemented some changes to the SS Printer.
- Another payment option was added to the menu; the game now distinguishes between PP gained from normal play and PP gained via real money. The player can choose to spend only 40 paid PP as opposed to 50 normal PP. - Your current PP is now visible on-screen after printing an item.
A content update was released along with it, featuring Saltwater Crocodile, and included two new items; the Crescent Creek and the Crocodile Float, the Float being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1387 to 1395, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Saltwater Crocodile, Northern White-Faced Owl and Eurasian Eagle-Owl.

A special event was active from 2/22 until 2/27, centred around felid Friends. A Suzaku printer was active with rerun rateups of the Big Bell, Tuna Can and Cat Face Cutout, and rateups for 2 new items; the Cat Mug and the Dorayaki House. A set of challenges were also available to be completed; players had to compete the following objectives:
- Encounter any of the following X times; Serval (?/2), Jaguar (?/2), Lion (?/2), Margay, Caracal (?/2), Cougar (?/2), Cheetah, Sand Cat, Black Leopard, Tiger, White Lion, Cave Lion
- Encounter the following friends simultaneously: Serval/Caracal (Gen ?), Serval/Caracal (Gen 2), Jaguar/Lion (Gen ?), Black Leopard/Margay, Cougar/Cheetah.

From 2/26 to 2/27, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 7 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

On 2/27, a special event was implemented surrounding Polar Bear, to celebrate International Polar Bear Day; an Event challenge was added, focussed on encountering her.

A content update was released on 2/27. It featured Pronghorn, and included two new items; the Big Record Player and the Running Shoe, the Shoe being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1395 to 1403, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Pronghorn, Cheetah and Greater Roadrunner.

A Suzaku printer and event challenge was active on 2/28 in celebration of Hinamatsuri. Two new items were added: the Peach Blossom and the Hishi Mochi Cake, the former being awarded up to 3 times for the challenge (encountering 50, 150 and 300 friends) and the latter being a rateup in the printer. The printer also had a rerun rateup for the Hinadan.

On 3/1, a set of Event Challenges surrounding Great White Pelican were active. Players had to encounter her a set number of times, then encounter her along with the following: Royal Penguin, Humboldt Penguin, Shoebill, Pink Flamingo, and Short-Beaked Common Dolphin/Common Bottlenose Dolphin.

From 3/5 to 3/6, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 8 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

A content update was released on 3/6. It featured Giant Armadillo, and included two new items; the Magnificent Armor and the Bubble Dome, the Dome being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1403 to 1411, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Giant Armadillo, Royal Penguin and Margay.

A Suzaku printer and event challenge was active from 3/8 to 3/15 in celebration of White Day. Three new items were added: the Blue Heart Flower Arch, the Candy Wagon and the Candy House, the first being awarded up to 3 times for the challenge (encountering 50, 150 and 300 friends) and the latter two being a rateup in the printer. The printer also had a rerun rateup for the Blue Heart Teddy Bear, Blue Heart Table and Blue Heart Floatie.

From 3/12 to 3/13, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 9 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

A content update was released on 3/13. It featured Domestic Dog (Mixed Breed) and included four new items: the Toy Helicopter and Shiba Inu Hug Pillow were Dog's items, the Shiba being time-limited; and a Suzaku printer was also active until 3/18 in celebration of the release of the GothicxLuck EP 'Starry Story' that included the new Japari Mart Model and Planetarium Tent, as well as rerun rateups of the Mysterious Cave, Santa's Sleigh, Fruit Ice, White Cat Plush and Hot Spring Set. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1411 to 1419, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Domestic Dog (Mixed Breed), Crested Ibis and Atlantic Puffin.

On 15/3, the Confetti Ball and Large Metronome were made craftable via Attraction Coins. A series of event challenges centred around the Snowy Mountain area were also made available until 20/3:
- Encounter the following X times in the Snowy Mountain: any Friend, Arctic Fox, Arctic Hare, Arctic Wolf, Red Fox, New Zealand Giant Penguin
- Encounter the following at the same time: Ezo Red Fox/Silver Fox, Humboldt Penguin/Gentoo Penguin, Royal Penguin/Emperor Penguin/Southern Rockhopper Penguin, Arctic Wolf/Grey Wolf/Japanese Wolf, Capybara/Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey/Coypu.

From 3/19 to 3/20, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 10 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

A content update was released on 3/20. It featured Western Parotia, and included two new items; the Gothic Stage and the Ballerina Music Box, the Music Box being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1419 to 1427, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Western Parotia, Raccoon and Fennec Fox.

A rerun printer was active from 3/22 to 3/27. It contained rateups for the Hot Water Plush, Automaton Clock, Tile Breaking Set, Colorful Drums, and the Running Machine.

A set of event challenges were active from 3/22 until 3/27, in celebration of Puppy Day. The following challenges were available to complete.
- Encounter any of the following X times; Fennec Fox, Ezo Red Fox, Silver Fox, Tibetan Sand Fox, Black-Backed Jackal, Grey Wolf, Red Fox, African Wild Dog, Coyote, Pale Fox, Bat-Eared Fox, Japanese Wolf, Arctic Fox, Arctic Wolf, Raccoon Dog, Domestic Dog (Mixed-Breed), Fennec Fox (Gen 2), Black-Backed Jackal (Gen 2)
- Encounter the following at the same time; Fennec Fox/Tibetan Sand Fox, Fennec Fox (Gen 2)/Black-Backed Jackal (Gen 2), African Wild Dog/Grey Wolf, Arctic Fox/Arctic Wolf, Ezo Red Fox/Silver Fox/Red Fox
- Play the Attraction minigame with any of the characters listed above X times. - Get an A and B rank in the Attraction minigame with any of the characters listed above.

From 3/26 to 3/27, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 11 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

A content update was released on 3/27. It featured Greater Lophorina, and included two new items; the Blue Light Stage and the UFO Toy, the UFO being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1427 to 1435, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Greater Lophorina, Caracal and Serval.

From 3/29 to 4/1, PP gained from external sources was multiplied by 1.5.

A Suzaku printer was active from 3/31 to 4/5 in observation of the cherry blossom season. It contained rerun rateups of the Cherry Blossom Petals and the Sakura Tree as well as a new item; the Shedding Sakura Rest Area. There was also an event challenge active for the same duration, awarding the new Picnic Set upon encountering 50, 150 and 300 Friends.

On 4/1, a new plaything (Pink Balloon Slide) was added, the encounter rate for Asian Small-Clawed Otter (both generations) and Japanese River Otter, and a plethora of event challenges were added surrounding them:
- Encounter any of the Otters 1/3/5/10/20/30 times. (The Pink Balloon Slide was awarded for reaching 30.)
- Encounter Japanese River Otter 1/2/3/4/5 times.
- Encounter Asian Small-Clawed Otter (Gen ?) and Japanese River Otter at the same time.
- Play the Attraction game with any of the Otters 1/3/5/7 times.
- Get an A and B rank with each of the 3 Otters.

From 4/2/ to 4/3, 50 PP was available as a gift to players in celebration of the airing of Episode 12 of the second season of the Kemono Friends anime.

A content update was released on 4/3. It featured Siberian Tiger, and included two new items; the Toy Block Towers and the Starry Fountain, the Fountain being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1435 to 1443, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Siberian Tiger, Silver Fox and Suri Alpaca.

On 5/4, players were given a gift of 10PP.

Later on 5/4, a Suzaku printer was active until 4/10; it contained 2 new items, the Blackboard and the Writing Desk. There was also a large amount of event challenges active, centered around Serval being encountered along with other Friends. Players had to encounter:

Version 1.7.4

On 4/10, the SS Printer was changed even further. The printer now offered the option of a 10+1 roll, wherein players could pay 1500 PP and get an additional roll for free. The rolling process was also upgraded with several animations. Donkey was added to the game, along with 2 new items: the Big Backpack and the Bread Truck, the latter of which is time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1443 to 1451, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Donkey, Dromedary and Wild Bactrian Camel. Additionally, the Small Wooden Tunnel was made craftable. 50 PP was also given to every player as an apology for the mandatory update.

From 4/12 to 4/19, free tickets were available for encountering 10 Friends (awarding one for every 10 until 100). A rerun printer was also active until 4/17, with rateups for the Daruma Otoshi, Pogo Stick, Big Binoculars, Mini Piano and Sandbox Play Set.

A content update was released on 4/17. It featured Passenger Pigeon, and included two new items; the Spinning Globe and the Simple Trolley Bag, the Bag being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1451 to 1459, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Passenger Pigeon, Bald Eagle and Short-Beaked Common Dolphin.

On 4/19, a set of event challenges centered around the Ocean area were made available until 4/24. Players had to accomplish the following in that area:
- Encounter 10/30/50 Friends
- Encounter the following Friends once: Short-Beaked Common Dolphin, Atlantic Puffin, Narwhal, Bald Eagle, Chinese White Dolphin
- Encounter the following Friends simultaneously: Common Bottlenose Dolphin/California Sea Lion, PPP, Bearded Seal/Blue Whale, New Zealand Giant Penguin/Great Auk, Tufted Puffin/Atlantic Puffin.
A rerun printer was also active, with rateups for the Hot Spring Set, Crescent Creek, Tropical Fish Swim Ring, Shiny Fish Toy and Mysterious Reef. Additionally, the second limited-time Attraction Coin-craftable plaything was made available until 6/21; the Ponpon Trampoline, which triggers a Super Unique Behavior for Serval and Caracal.

A content update was released on 4/24. It featured Adélie Penguin, and included two new items; the Ice Tunnel and the Penguin-Type Submarine, the Submarine being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1459 to 1467, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Adélie Penguin, New Zealand Giant Penguin and Gentoo Penguin.

An event was active from 4/25 until 4/30, in celebration of World Penguin Day. It added two new items; the PPP Jet and the Penguin Tower. The former was the main rateup in an Genbu printer which also contained rateups for the Stone Castle, Mysterious Reef, Retro Mic, Ice Tunnel, Speaker and Single Mic. The latter was a reward from one of the event challenges, a list of which follows:
- Encounter any 50, 150 and 300 Friends in any area. Each milestone awarded a Penguin Tower.
- Encounter any of the following X times in any area: Royal Penguin, Emperor Penguin, Humboldt Penguin, Gentoo Penguin, Southern Rockhopper Penguin, New Zealand Giant Penguin, Great Auk, African Penguin and Adélie Penguin. - Use any of the above Friends in the attraction minigame X times, and get an A rank and B rank.

On 4/27, a set of event challenges was active for World Tapir Day, centered around Malayan Tapir. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times in any area, and use her in the attraction minigame 5 times, along with getting a B and A rank.

On 4/30, a set of event challenges was active until 5/5 for Golden Week. Players had to encounter 10 and 30 Friends in each of the game's areas. A Suzaku printer was also active for the duration, containing rateups for 2 new items; the Decorative Helmet and the Carp Streamer.

On 5/1, an event was active for the day surrounding Bat-Eared Fox. Her encounter rate was increased, and a set of challenges were active: encounter her in any area a set amount of times, and encounter her simultaneously with Fennec Fox, Ezo Red Fox/Silver Fox, Tibetan Sand Fox, Red Fox, and Pale Fox.

A content update was released on 5/1. It featured Domestic Pig, and included two new items; the Mushroom Pool and the Pig Vacuum, the Vacuum being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1467 to 1475, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Domestic Pig, Ezo Red Fox and Tasmanian Devil.

On 5/5, a set of event challenges were made active until 5/10, along with a Suzaku printer containing a new item (Treasure Island) and rerun rateups for the Small Palm Tree Islet and Pineapple Island. The challenges were centered around Raccoon:
- Encounter Raccoon X times.
- Encounter Raccoon (Gen 2) X times.
- Encounter the following simultaneously: Raccoon/Fennec Fox, Raccoon/Serval, Raccoon/Raccoon Dog, Raccoon/Fennec Fox (Gen 2), Raccoon/Serval (Gen 2)
- Use Raccoon and Raccoon (Gen 2) in the Attraction minigame X times, and get an A and B rank once each.

A content update was released on 5/8. It featured Okinawan Habu, and included two new items; the Plush Mouse Doll and the Snake Toy, the Snake being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1475 to 1483, including 8 additional talks. The shovel was also craftable, and updated to now attract Meerkat. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Okinawan Habu, King Cobra and Komodo Dragon.

Two items were added on 10/5 in celebration of different events; the Bouquet of Carnations was available as a rateup in a Suzaku printer, and the Tulip Lamp was awarded up to 3 times for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends. Both events lasted until 5/15.

A content update was released on 5/15. It featured Leopard (a differently-designed Leopard), and included two new items; the Colorful Climbing Pole and the Big Leopard Print Bag, the Bag being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1483 to 1491, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Leopard EX, Jaguar and Black Leopard.

On 5/17, a set of 10 event challenges for encountering 10/20/30/.../100 Friends were active until 5/22, each awarding an Attraction ticket. A rerun printer was active for the same duration, containing 3% rateups for the Soccer Goal, Magnificent Armor, Big Record Player, Aerobike and Colorful Cat Tower. Additionally, the Golden Mouse Toy, Dresser, and Paper Shuriken were all made craftable for 3000 Attraction Coins each.

A content update was released on 5/22. It featured Spectacled Caiman, and included two new items; the Clear Waterfall Lake and the Roofed Pleasure Ferry, the Ferry being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1491 to 1499, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Tea Table was made craftable, and changed to attract Japanese Wolf. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Spectacled Caiman, Margay and California Sea Lion.

On 5/23, a set of event challenges were active in celebration of World Turtle Day, centered around Red-Eared Slider. Players had to encounter her in any area, and use her in the Attraction minigame and get an A and B rank.

On 5/24, a Suzaku printer was active until 5/29, centered around Sand Cat. It contained a new item, the Angel Pillar, as well as a rerun rateup of the Sandcastle. A set of event challenges centered around the Waterfront area were also active for the same duration. Players had to do the following:
- Encounter any X Friends in Waterfront.
- Encounter the following: Hippopotamus, Margay, Komodo Dragon, Greater Flamingo, Coypu.
- Encounter the following Friends at the same time: Black-Tailed Prairie Dog/North American Beaver, Japanese River Otter/Asian Small-Clawed Otter, PPP + New Zealand Giant Penguin, Black Leopard/Bearded Seal/Cougar, and Atlantic Puffin/Crested Ibis/Thomson's Gazelle/Serval/Caracal.

A content update was released on 5/29. It featured Common Vampire Bat, and included two new items; the Bat Obstacle Course and the Flapping Bat, the Flapping Bat being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1499 to 1507, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Common Vampire Bat, Aardwolf and Silky Anteater.

A set of items were added on 5/31, to celebrate the rainy season. The Colorful Hydrangea was awarded up to 3 times to players who encountered any 50, 150 and 300 Friends. The Starry Kitten Balloon and the Frog Teru Teru Bōzu were available as rateups in a Suzaku printer. Both lasted until 6/5.

A content update was released on 6/5. It featured Sheep, and included two new items; the Fluffy Sheep Set and the Red-Roofed Windmill, the Windmill being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1507 to 1515, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Sheep, Grey Wolf and Suri Alpaca.

A single KemoTalk was added on 6/6, bringing the total from 1515 to 1516.

Version 1.7.5

Version 1.7.5 was available as a voluntary download on 6/7, with some changes and bugfixes. Until 7/9, a collaboration with Shiro Chronicle JOKER was also active, involving 4 new items and an event challenge: a Suzaku printer containing the ShiroChro Dragon Palace and the ShiroChro Pinwheel Stand was available until 6/14; a new craftable, the ShiroChro Parade Float, was available until 7/9; and the ShiroChro Watchtower was awarded up to 3 times for players who encountered 50, 150 and 300 Friends. In addition, players were given a 50 PP present per day until 6/13.

A content update was released on 6/12. It featured Stoat, and included two new items; the White Stump House and the Snowflake Ring, the Ring being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1516 to 1524, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Stoat, Arctic Hare and Arctic Wolf.

A content update was released on 6/14, featuring Oinari-sama. This update was a special event distinct from other weekly updates that added new characters, and saw the introduction of some new gameplay elements: a new type of printer styled after Seiryu was introduced, which offers a time-limited rateup for an especially rare 5-star item; the first of these introduced with this update was the Kon Kon Kitchen. Oinari-sama herself received encounter and attraction challenges alongside the other weekly Friends. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1524 to 1532, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, a set of event challenges surrounding Fennec and her Generation 2 version were made active; players had to encounter her in any area and use her in the Attraction mini-game/get an A and B rank, as well as encounter her simultaneously with the following: Raccoon, Black-Backed Jackal, Bat-Eared Fox, Raccoon (Gen 2), Black-Backed Jackal (Gen 2). All of this content lasted until 9/16.

On 6/15, a special event was implemented for the day surrounding Scarlet Macaw, the first repeated event to occur in the game. An Event challenge was added focusing on encountering her.

A content update was released on 6/19. It featured Common Ostrich, and included two new items; the Question Mark Boxes and the Fortune Telling Set, the Set being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1532 to 1540, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Common Ostrich, Thomson's Gazelle and Greater Roadrunner.

On 6/20, a Twitter contest was held for Japanese players in another Shiro Chronicle JOKER collaboration. Players entered by sending in screenshots containing the following Friends: Aardwolf, Plains Zebra (Gen ?), Malayan Tapir, Arabian Oryx, Commerson's Dolphin, Giant Panda, Southern Tamandua, and Polar Bear.

On 6/21, a special event was implemented surrounding Reticulated Giraffe (both generations), to celebrate World Giraffe Day; this was the second repeated event to occur in the game.
An Event challenge was added focusing on encountering either of them up 1/2/3/4/5 times, as well as using them in the Attraction 1/3/5 times and getting an A and B rank. A Suzaku printer was also active until 6/26 to celebrate the June wedding season; it contained rateups for two new items, the Wedding Swing and the Wedding Dolls.
Additionally, the third limited-time Attraction Coin-craftable plaything was made available until 6/21; the Happy Tea Party Set, which triggers a Super Unique Behavior for Crested Ibis and Suri Alpaca. A set of event challenges, which awarded Attraction tickets for encountering any 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100 Friends, was active until 6/26 to help players get more Attraction coins.

On 6/22, a special event was implemented surrounding Dromedary and Wild Bactrian Camel, to celebrate World Camel Day; this was the third repeated event to occur in the game. Two Event challenges was added, focussed on encountering either of them and using either of them in the Attraction minigame/getting an A and B rank.

A content update was released on 6/26. It featured Walrus, and included two new items; the Lazing Walruses and the Elephant Shower the Shower being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1540 to 1548, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Walrus, Bearded Seal and Narwhal.

A rerun printer was active from 6/28 to 7/3. It contained rateups for the Big Backpack, Toy Helicopter, Big Cymbal, Snazzy Lodge and Log Obstacle.

On 6/30, a special event was implemented to celebrate the start of the beachgoing season. A Suzaku printer was active until 7/5, containing rateups for 2 new items; the Toy Crab and the Mermaid Harp. A third new item, the Sunflower Float, could also be acquired by completing an event challenge for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends (also active until 7/5).

On 7/1, a special event was implemented for the day centred around Masked Booby. An event challenge was added focussing on encountering her, as well as 5 other challenges where she had to be encountered alongside the following: Bald Eagle, Crested Ibis, Atlantic Puffin, Eurasian Eagle-Owl/Northern White-Faced Owl, and Greater Flamingo. Players also had to use her in the Attraction up to 5 times, and get an A and B rank. Later in the day, after a stream showcasing Shiro Chronicle JOKER and its collaboration with Pavilion, players were given a 300 PP present, available until 7/8.

A content update was released on 7/3. It featured White Rhinoceros, and included two new items; the Sword Fighting Stand and the Rhino Die Board Game, the Board Game being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1548 to 1556, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for White Rhinoceros, Panther Chameleon and Moose.

On 7/5, a special event was implemented until 7/10 to celebrate Tanabata, adding 3 new items. A Suzaku printer was active that contained rateups for the Milky Way Bridge and the Tanabata Plush Dolls. An event challenge was also active that awarded up to 3 Bamboo Boats for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends.

Version 1.7.6 was available as a voluntary download on 7/9, with some changes and bugfixes. It was made mandatory not long after, at midnight.

A content update was released on 7/10. It featured Gastornis, and included two new items; the Feathered Gong and the Mop Slipper, the Slipper being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1556 to 1564, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Gastornis, Shoebill and Scarlet Macaw.

On 7/12, a Suzaku printer was active until 7/17. It contained a new item, the Melon Fruit Punch, as well as rateups for the Pear Bed, Watermelon Boat and Parfait Cup. The following challenges were also active for the same period, centered around the Jungle:
- Encounter any X Friends in the Jungle.
- Encounter Okapi, North American Beaver, Margay, Cougar and Frilled Lizard once each in the Jungle.

A content update was released on 7/19. It featured Generation 2 Leopard, and included two new items; the High Jump Set and the Takoyaki Cushions, the Cushions being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1572 to 1578, including 6 additional talks. This update added encounter and Attraction entry challenges for Leopard (Gen 2), Serval, and Serval (Gen 2), alongside that week's other challenges. The Stained Glass Lamp and the Retro Mic were also made craftable via Attraction Coins. Both generations of Serval also received some special event challenges. Players had to encounter each of them a set amount of times, and encounter the following Friends simultaneously: Serval/Raccoon/Fennec Fox, Serval/Caracal, Serval/Okapi, Serval/Raccoon/Fennec Fox (Gen 2), Serval/Caracal (Gen 2).

A content update was released on 7/24. It featured Japanese Cormorant, and included two new items; the Star-Shaped Buoy and the Pelican Float, the Pelican being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1578 to 1586, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Japanese Cormorant, Bald Eagle and Atlantic Puffin. Additionally, the High Sleeper Bed was made craftable, and changed to now attract Bengal Tiger.

A rerun printer was active from 7/26 until 7/31, containing rateups for the Gothic Stage, Toy Block Towers, Blue Light Stage, Moisturising Mud Pack and Aerobike. An event challenge was also active for the same period, alongside Kemono Friends Party; players had to encounter 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 Friends, with the final challenge awarding a Biscuit Cushion.

Players were awarded a 150 PP gift on 7/27, for Kemono Friends Party.

A special event was held on 7/29, in celebration of International Tiger Day. A challenge was available for encountering either Bengal Tiger or Siberian Tiger, using them in the Attraction, and getting an A and B rank with them.

A content update was released on 7/31. It featured Great Cormorant, and included two new items; the Flapping Fan and the Peeping Kappa, the Kappa being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1586 to 1594, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Great Cormorant, Asian Small-Clawed Otter and Japanese River Otter. Additionally, the Big Conch was made craftable, and changed to now attract Commerson's Dolphin.

A special event was held on 8/1, centered around Commerson's Dolphin. Her encounter rate was increased across all items, and a challenge was active focusing on encountering her. Players also had to encounter her alongside the following: Short-Beaked Common Dolphin, Common Bottlenose Dolphin, Chinese White Dolphin, Malayan Tapir, and Plains Zebra.

A Suzaku printer was active from 8/2 to 8/7 with a summer festival theme, containing two new items; the Festival Yagura and the Mask Stall, as well as a rerun rateup for the Goldfish Bowl. A challenge was also active for the same duration, which awarded up to 3 of a new item (the Big Yo-Yos) for encountering 50, 150 and 300 Friends.

A content update was released on 8/7. It featured Common Degu, and included two new items; the Tin Robot and the Big Zampoña, the Zampoña being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1594 to 1602, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Common Degu, Coypu and Fennec Fox. Additionally, the Treehouse was made craftable, and changed to now attract Indian Elephant.

A special event was active on 8/8, focused on feline Friends. Players had to get encounters and attraction entries for any of the following: Serval, Jaguar, Lion, Margay, Caracal, Cougar, Cheetah, Sand Cat, Black Leopard, Bengal Tiger, White Lion, European Cave Lion, Siberian Tiger, Leopard (EX), Serval (Gen 2), Jaguar (Gen 2), Lion (Gen 2), Caracal (Gen 2), Cougar (Gen 2), and Leopard (Gen 2).

Two events were active from 9/8 until 8/14. A Suzaku printer contained a new item, the Toy Squid, and had it along with the Octopus Toy as a rateup. A set of event challenges were also active, centred around the Mountain area. Players had to accomplish the following:
- Encounter X Friends in Mountain.
- Encounter the following Friends X times: Suri Alpaca, Brown Bear, Silky Anteater, Japanese Wolf, and Scarlet Ibis.
- Encounter the following sets of Friends at the same time: Northern White-Faced Owl/Eurasian Eagle-Owl, Crested Ibis/Scarlet Ibis, Brown Bear/Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey/African Wild Dog, Grey Wolf/Japanese Wolf, and Ezo Red Fox/Silver Fox/Red Fox/Tibetan Sand Fox.

A special event was active on 10/8 in celebration of World Lion Day. Players had to encounter and enter the Attraction minigame with Lion, White Lion, European Cave Lion or Lion (Gen 2).

A special event was active on 12/8 in celebration of World Elephant Day. Players had to encounter and enter the Attraction minigame with Indian Elephant or Woolly Mammoth. Later in the day, players were given a 10 PP gift as an apology after it was discovered that Woolly Mammoth was not given a 20% bonus for the Attraction game as intended.

A content update was released on 8/14. It featured Blue Wildebeest, and included two new items; the Lucky Shower and the Small Oasis, the Oasis being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1602 to 1610, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Blue Wildebeest, Plains Zebra and Cheetah. Version 1.7.7

Version 1.7.7 was introduced as a mandatory download on 8/15. New voice lines for the Type-1 Lucky Beast were added to the game, which were played when tapping on them in-game. Players were given a 50 PP gift as an apology for the mandatory update. Later that afternoon, the version's major feature was introduced; the maximum level cap for Friends was increased from 99 to 149. A Friend's max level could be increased by 10 levels at a time in the Archive menu for 1000 coins each. The XP required for each level past this point was higher than normal, starting at 200 XP (20 spawns) to get from 99 to 100. Additionally, a new KemoTalk was added, raising the total from 1610 to 1611.

A Genbu printer was active from 8/16 to 8/21. It contained rateups for the Plush Mouse Doll, Mushroom Pool, Spinning Globe, Magnificent Armor and Soccer Goal. Additionally, the fourth limited-time Attraction Coin-craftable plaything was made available until 10/18; the Floating Boathouse, which triggers a Super Unique Behavior for North American Beaver and Black-Tailed Prairie Dog. A set of event challenges, which awarded Attraction tickets for encountering any 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100 Friends, was active until 8/21 to help players get more Attraction coins.

A content update was released on 8/21. It featured Killer Whale, and included two new items; the Aquatic Basketball Hoop and the Chomping Shark Toy, the Shark being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1611 to 1619, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Killer Whale, Short-Beaked Common Dolphin and Common Bottlenose Dolphin. The description texts for most of the game's Friends were also given very minor alterations, generally involving: switching from full-length English letters (for measurements) to half-width, adding line breaks, changing sets of three dots to six, among other things.

A content update was released on 8/23. It featured Shisa Lefty, and included a new item; the Red Shisa Stage of Everlasting Summer, available from a Seiryu printer. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1619 to 1527, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, a set of event challenges surrounding Asian Small-Clawed Otter and her Generation 2 version were made active; players had to encounter her in any area and use her in the Attraction mini-game/get an A and B rank, as well as encounter her simultaneously with the following: Jaguar, Japanese River Otter, Raccoon/Reticulated Giraffe, Raccoon (Gen 2), Hippopotamus (Gen 2). All of this content lasted until 8/28. External PP rewards were also multiplied by 1.5 until 8/27.

On 9/1, a special event was implemented for the day surrounding Tufted Puffin; event challenges were added focused on encountering her X times, and encountering her at the same time as the following: Atlantic Puffin, Humboldt Penguin, Bald Eagle, Greater Flamingo, and Crested Ibis/Scarlet Ibis. Players also had to use her in the Attraction minigame, and get A/B ranks.

A content update was released on 9/4. It featured Chinstrap Penguin, and included two new items; the Aquatic Drum Set and the Fluffy Penguins, the Penguins being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1635 to 1643, including 8 additional talks. The Large Wooden Raft was made craftable, and changed to now attract Masked Booby. Finally, players were awarded 500 Pavilion Coins and 500 Attraction Coins as a gift. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Chinstrap Penguin, New Zealand Giant Penguin and Southern Rockhopper Penguin.

On 9/6, a set of event challenges centered around the Waterfront area were made available until 9/11. Players had to accomplish the following in that area:

A content update was released on 9/25. It featured Japanese Black Bear, and included two new items; the Crescent Moon Bed and the Bear Kotatsu, the Bear Kotatsu being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1668 to 1676, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Big Wooden Box was made craftable, and changed to attract Giant Panda. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Japanese Black Bear, Brown Bear and Polar Bear.

A Genbu printer was active from 9/27 to 10/2; its rateups were for the Bat Obstacle Course, Clear Waterfall Lake, Big Cymbals, Snazzy Lodge and Colorful Climbing Pole. In celebration of the recent Japari Stage stage play, players were awarded 150 PP for logging in during the time period of 9/27 to 10/7. An event challenge was also active until 10/2, focused on encountering Bat-Eared Fox.

A Suzaku printer was active from 9/29 to 10/4. It contained 2 new items: the Blue Lucky Balloon and the Pink Lucky Balloon. An event challenge was also active until 10/4, awarding a third new item (the Cosmos Basket) for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends.

On 9/30, the game underwent mandatory maintenance for 2 hours at 12:00 PM JST; changes were made to gacha rates and PP-related elements, due to the tax rate in Japan rising. 150PP was awarded to players as an apology for the maintenance.

On 10/1, a special event was implemented for the day surrounding Raccoon Dog; event challenges were added focused on encountering her X times, and encountering her at the same time as the following: Raccoon, Serval/Okapi, Black Leopard, Woolly Mammoth, and Atlantic Puffin/Crested Ibis. Players also had to use her in the Attraction minigame, and get A/B ranks.

A content update was released on 10/2. It featured Axis Deer, and included two new items; the Earth Block and the Glamping Set, the Set being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1676 to 1684, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Axis Deer, Fossa and Moose.

A content update was released on 10/25. It featured Jack O' Lantern, and included a new item; the Happy Trick Theater, available from a Seiryu printer. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1709 to 1717, including 8 additional talks. A Suzaku printer was implemented in celebration of Halloween, containing rateups for 2 additional new items (the Halloween Tree and the Witch's Broom) as well as a rerun rateup of the Witch's Castle. A fourth new item, the Lantern Tower, was awarded up to 3 times for completing a set of event challenges for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends. All of this content lasted until 11/1.

On 10/28, a special event was implemented for the day surrounding Red Panda EX and Giant Panda; event challenges were added focused on encountering either of them X times, and using them in the Attraction minigame/getting A/B ranks. Later in the day, a new mechanic was implemented that allowed players to change the appearance of the two Lucky Beasts that hold the buns on the main play screen. Customisations could be bought for either coins or PP depending on the item, and they offered special bonuses to the player. Two Lucky Beasts were released to start off: the Halloween Lucky Beast (which received a further increased effect until 12/27) and the Park Guide Lucky Beast.

A content update was released on 10/30. It featured Black-Headed Ibis, and included two new items; the Monochrome Stage and the Small Paddy Field, the Field being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1717 to 1725, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Yacht was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Great White Pelican. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Black-Headed Ibis, Crested Ibis and Scarlet Ibis.

On 11/1, a special event was implemented for the day surrounding Southern Tamandua EX; event challenges were added focused on encountering her 1/2/3/4/5 times, and using her in the Attraction minigame/getting A/B ranks. Players also had to encounter the following with her at the same time: Shoebill, Okapi, Tasmanian Devil, Silky Anteater, Southern Tamandua.

Later in the day, a Suzaku printer was active from 1/11 to 11/6. It contained a rateup for a new item, the Shedding Maple Rest Area, as well as a rerun of the Autumn Tree. A second new item, the Maple Bun Cushions, was awarded up to 3 times for completing a set of event challenges for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends.

A content update was released on 11/6. It featured Crested Porcupine, and included two new items; the Balloon Pump and the Hedgehog Body Pillow, the Pillow being time-limited. On 11/8, a Suzaku printer was made active until 11/13 in celebration of the release of Kemono Friends Alarm 2. It featured a new item, the Serval & Caracal Clock. A set of encounter and attraction challenges for both generations of Serval and Caracal were also active.

A content update was released on 11/13. It featured Eurasian Beaver, and included two new items; the River Fishing Hut and the Green-Roofed Clock Tower, the Tower being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1733 to 1741, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Wooden Tunnel was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Spotted Hyena. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Eurasian Beaver, North American Beaver and Black-Tailed Prairie Dog.

On 11/14, the base encounter rate of all Friends was changed for each area; in general, Friends added later in the game's lifespan now had a higher chance of appearing without rateups. Additionally, a single KemoTalk was added, bringing the total from 1741 to 1742.

On 11/15, a set of challenges were made active until 11/20 that awarded Attraction Tickets for encountering any 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100 Friends. The Sandcastle, Unicorn Ride and Food Sample - Tuna were all made craftable with Attraction Coins. Additionally, a Suzaku printer was also active until 11/20, with 2 new item rateups (the Acorn Bed and the Acorn House) and a rerun rateup for the Big Acorn Top.

A content update was released on 11/20. It featured Pallas's Cat, and included two new items; the Peeking Squirrel House and the Cat Parent & Child Plush, the Plush being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1742 to 1750, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Covered Raft was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Tufted Puffin. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Pallas's Cat, Arctic Fox and Arctic Hare.

Version 1.9.0 was released as a mandatory update on 11/21.

Version 1.9.1

Due to issues that Android users encountered with the previous version, Version 1.9.1 was released on 11/22 after a short maintenance period.

In this version, the maximum Pavilion Level was increased from 99 to 199. Additionally, the Main Console feature was added to the game. This new menu contained four buttons, which could each be unlocked by encountering the corresponding Divine Beast (Byakko, Genbu, Suzaku, Seiryu) for the first time. Activating a button caused all material drops from Sparkles to be one specific material. A content update was also released. It featured Byakko, and included a new item; the Secret Training Area, available from a Seiryu printer. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1750 to 1758, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, a set of event challenges surrounding Thomson's Gazelle and her Generation 2 version were made active; players had to encounter her in any area and use her in the Attraction mini-game/get an A and B rank, as well as encounter her simultaneously with the following: Thomson's Gazelle/Serval/Caracal, Thomson's Gazelle/Crested Ibis/Silver Fox, Thomson's Gazelle/Arabian Oryx, Thomson's Gazelle/Serval/Caracal (Gen 2), and Thomson's Gazelle/Raccoon/Fennec Fox (Gen 2).. All of this content lasted until 11/27. Players were also awarded a daily 50PP gift until 11/28.

A content update was released on 11/27. It featured Steller Sea Lion, and included two new items; the Marine Stage and the Relaxing Beach House, the House being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1758 to 1766, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Washtub was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Raccoon Dog. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Steller Sea Lion, Bearded Seal and California Sea Lion.

A Suzaku printer was active from 11/29 to 12/4. It contained rateups for 2 new items; the Warm Cypress Bath and the Hot Oden Stall. An event challenge was also active until 12/4, awarding a third new item (the Capybara Onsen Mascot) up to three times for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends.

On 11/1, a special event was implemented for the day surrounding Capybara; her encounter rate was increased in all areas, event challenges were added focused on encountering her 1/2/3/4/5 times, and using her in the Attraction minigame/getting A/B ranks. Players also had to encounter the following with her at the same time: Ezo Red Fox/Silver Fox, Serval, Suri Alpaca, Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey, Coypu.

A content update was released on 12/4. It featured Aurochs, and included two new items; the Hammer Game Machine and the Bench Press Set, the Set being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1766 to 1774, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Yuzu Bunch was made craftable, and was changed to now attract King Cobra. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Aurochs, Lion and Moose.

A single KemoTalk was added on 12/5, bringing the total from 1774 to 1775.

Two events were active from 12/6 until 12/11. A Suzaku printer contained 2 new items, the Panda Toaster and the Big Sheep Teapot, as well as a rerun rateup of the Big Donabe. A set of event challenges were also active, centred around the Savanna area. Players had to accomplish the following:
- Encounter X Friends in Savanna.
- Encounter the following Friends once each: Aardwolf, Hippopotamus, Cheetah, Black Leopard, and Meerkat.
- Encounter the following sets of Friends at the same time: Serval/Caracal, Raccoon/Fennec Fox, African Wild Dog/Spotted Hyena, Okapi/Plains Zebra/Reticulated Giraffe, and Northern White-Faced Owl/Eurasian Eagle-Owl/Tsuchinoko.

A content update was released on 12/11. It featured American Bison, and included two new items; the Tackle Machine and the Western Cabin, the Cabin being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1775 to 1783, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Wooden Jungle Gym was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Southern Tamandua. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for American Bison, Brown Bear and Grey Wolf.

A content update was released on 12/13. It featured Genbu, and included a new item; the Mysterious Karakuri Organ, available from a Seiryu printer. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1783 to 1791, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, a set of event challenges surrounding Raccoon and her Generation 2 version were made active; players had to encounter her in any area and use her in the Attraction mini-game/get an A and B rank, as well as encounter her simultaneously with the following: Fennec Fox, Serval, Raccoon Dog, Fennec Fox (Generation 2), and Serval (Generation 2). All of this content lasted until 12/18. Players were also awarded a daily 50PP gift until 12/19.

A content update was released on 12/18. It featured White Reindeer, and included two new items; the Snowy Gazebo and Santa's White Reindeer, the Reindeer being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1791 to 1799, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Rocking Horse was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Southern Tamandua EX. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for White Reindeer, Narwhal and Polar Bear.

On 12/20, several changes were made: - The Pile of Rocks, Sandbox Play Set, Mini Piano, Park-Print Parasol, Large Peach and Whiteboard were all made craftable with attraction coins.
- Until 12/27, an event challenge awarded a new item (the Christmas Wreath) up to 3 times for encountering any 50/150/300 Friends.
- The sixth limited-time Attraction Coin-craftable plaything was made available until 2/21/20; the Rolling Beanbag Toss Set, which triggers a Super Unique Behavior for Ezo Red Fox and Silver Fox.
- A Suzaku printer was active until 12/27, to celebrate Christmas. 2 new items were available (the White Christmas Tree and the Bûche de Noël), and the Christmas Tree and Christmas Cake were available as rerun rateups.

On 12/23, two new Lucky Beasts were added to the game: the Santa Lucky Beast (which received a boost to its effect until 2/21) and the Maid Lucky Beast.

A content update was released on 12/25. It featured White Tiger, and included two new items; the Dragon Tower and the Striped Tiger Car, the Car being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1799 to 1807, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Ice Castle was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Reindeer. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for White Tiger, Okapi and Bengal Tiger.

A Suzaku printer was active from 12/27 to 1/3. It contained a rateup for a new item, the Kite Flying Set, and a rerun rateup for the Kagami Mochi. An event challenge was also active until 1/3, awarding a second new item (the Decorative Battledore) up to three times for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends.

A content update was released on 1/1. It featured Long-Tailed Chinchilla, and included two new items; the Street Performance Set and the Rat Zodiac Ornament, the Ornament being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1807 to 1815, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Orange Turtle Boat was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Frilled Lizard. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Long-Tailed Chinchilla, North American Beaver and Coypu. Additionally, from 1/1/ until 1/7, players were awarded a 50 PP present per day.

A single KemoTalk was added on 1/2, bringing the total from 1815 to 1816.

A Genbu printer was active from 1/3 to 1/8, which contained rerun rateups for the Piglet Ring Toss Set, the Lucky Shower and the Bee-Print Sandbag. Additionally, an event challenge was active until 1/8: players had to encounter up to any 30 Rodent friends (North American Beaver, Black-Tailed Prairie Dog, Coypu, Capybara, Common Degu, Crested Porcupine, Eurasian Beaver or Long-Tailed Chinchilla). Finally, the Pop Stage, Toy Submarine and Baobab Tree were made craftable with Attraction Coins.

A content update was released on 1/8. It featured Northern Goshawk, and included two new items; the Cool Bird Airplane and the Tranquil Bathhouse, the Bathhouse being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1816 to 1824, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Northern Goshawk, Shoebill and Bald Eagle.

A content update was released on 1/10. It featured Seiryu, and included a new item; the Crystal Fountain, available from a Seiryu printer. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1824 to 1832, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, a set of event challenges surrounding Asian Small-Clawed Otter and her Generation 2 version were made active; players had to encounter her in any area and use her in the Attraction mini-game/get an A and B rank, as well as encounter her simultaneously with the following: Jaguar, Hippopotamus, Japanese River Otter, Jaguar (Generation 2), and Hippopotamus (Generation 2). All of this content lasted until 1/15. Players were also awarded a daily 50PP gift until 1/17.

A content update was released on 1/15. It featured Oriental Stork, and included two new items; the Rattling Lawnmower and the Lovebirds, the Lovebirds being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1832 to 1840, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Large Wooden Table was made craftable, and was changed to now attract Giant Forest Hog. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Oriental Stork, Crested Ibis and Scarlet Ibis.

On 1/17, several changes were made: - The Whale Float, Happy Bell, Mysterious Reef, Toy Train, Colorful Cat Tower and Big Binoculars were all made craftable with attraction coins. - Until 1/22, an event challenge awarded Attraction Tickets for encountering any 10/20/30/.../100 Friends. - Until 1/22, the amount of Attraction Coins awarded for each ranking in the Attraction mini-game was increased: 20 from 6 for S-rank, 15 from 5 for A-rank, 10 from 4 for B-rank, 5 from 3 for C-rank, 3 from 2 for D-rank, and 2 from 1 for E-rank. - A Genbu printer was active from 1/17 to 1/22, which contained rerun rateups for the Juicer Set, Earth Block, Bamboo Slide, Decorative Battledore and Bat Obstacle Course.

A content update was released on 1/22. It featured Black-Tailed Gull, and included two new items; the Cat Steamboat and the Bird Whirligigs, the Whirligigs being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 1840 to 1848, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Snowdome was made craftable, and was changed to now attract European Cave Lion. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Black-Tailed Gull, Tufted Puffin and Atlantic Puffin.

Version 1.9.2

Version 1.9.2 was released on 1/24 with a number of new features.
- The app icon was updated to celebrate the game's second anniversary.
- Players could now view the rateups for any given item via pressing a button while viewing an item's details.
- Players can now remove all Playthings from an area by pressing the Plaything button on the area screen and then pressing a second button in the same spot.
- When selecting a Plaything to be placed, the inventory now automatically filters by land/water and effective area.
- Other assorted bug fixes.
A 50 PP present was given to players who logged in before 1/31 to celebrate the update. In addition, the following events were active:
- All Super Unique Behavior playthings were made available to craft again until 2/21.
- A new item, the 2nd Anniversary Balloon Swing, was gifted to players who logged in before 2/7.
- A set of challenges celebrating the game's 2nd anniversary were made active until 2/7. 10 PP was awarded for every 10 Friends encountered until 200; at 100 and 200, players were awarded another new item (the 2nd Anniversary Photo Frame) instead of PP.
- A Genbu printer was active until 1/31; its pool consisted of all time-limited 3-star items that were released in from 1/1/19 onwards (i.e. the Boar Zodiac Ornament through to the 1st Anniversary Airplane). It also contained a rateup for a new item, the Pavilion Dome Model, and a rerun rateup for the Pavilion Music Box.

On 1/26, the following events were active:
- 150 PP was gifted to players every day until 2/2.
- The Pavilion Twitter account posted special avatars containing characters from the game each day until 2/22, with each one being deleted within 24 hours.
- A new Lucky Beast, the 2nd Anniversary Lucky Beast, was added to the game.
- A Twitter competition was held until 2/7, promising a series of rewards for retweets of a certain post. 100 and 500 retweets would respectively win a 150 and 300 PP gift for all players; 750 retweets would result in a Pavilion-themed smartphone wallpaper being posted to Twitter; 1000, 2000 and 3000 retweets would award players with new playthings that had new Unique Behaviors for Serval, Raccoon and Fennec Fox respectively; and finally, every 1000 retweets after 3000 would result in a new plaything and new unique behavior for another Friend.
