The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Dhole, Meerkat and Short-Beaked Common Dolphin.

Her spawn rate was drastically increased across all Playthings and areas, and Event Challenges were added focussed on encountering her a set number of times, as well as encountering her with the following Friends: Serval/Caracal, Hippopotamus, Asian Small-Clawed Otter, Japanese River Otter, Coypu.

All of this content lasted until 2/19. Players were also awarded a daily 50PP gift until 2/21. Finally, a single KemoTalk was added to the game, bringing the total from 1881 to 1882; it was unlocked upon the player encountering each of the 'four Gods' (Byakko, Genbu, Seiryu, Suzaku) at least once.

- Players were gifted 50 PP for logging in every day until 3/15.<br>
 
- The daily encounter challenges. were permanently overhauled. Originally awarding 40 PP for encountering 3, 10, 20 and 30 Friends at 10 PP each, with an additional 40 PP for 80 PP total for watching advertisements after completing each challenge, they now awarded 80 PP and 50 coins each day with no ads whatsoever. The new milestones were: 1 (10 coins), 3 (10 PP), 5 (coins), 7 (PP), 10 (coins), 13 (PP), 15 (PP), 17 (coins), 20 (PP), 23 (PP), 25 (coins), 27 (PP), 30 (PP).<br>

Due to the weekly plaything in a Seiryu printer, this week's Byakko printer contained rerun rateups for an assortment of previous limited-time 3-star playthings, updated to have new rateups; the Leopard-Print Sneaker, Big Moon, Watermelon Boat, Ramen Bowl, Pear Bed, Parfait Cup, Musical Note Chair, Toy Rocket, Palm Tree Islet, Udon Bowl, Big Sneaker, Surfboard, Cone Cup, Colorful Xylophone. These playthings were also added to the normal pool (essentially no longer becoming limited).
 
 
 
From 5/15 to 5/20, a set of event challenges surrounding Hippopotamus and her Generation 2 version were made active; players had to encounter her in any area and use her in the Attraction mini-game/get an A and B rank, as well as encounter her simultaneously with the following: Serval, Brown Bear, American Beaver/Black-Tailed Prairie Dog, Serval (Generation 2), Asian Small-Clawed Otter (Generation 2). A Suzaku printer was also active for the same duration, containing rerun rateups for the Bowling Set, Cool Bird Airplane, Tackle Machine, River Fishing Hut, and Bee-Print Sandbag.
 
 
 
A content update was also released on 5/20. It featured Australian Devil, and included two new items; the Devilish Bathtub and the Ribbon Dresser, the Dresser being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2005 to 2013, including 8 additional talks. The Hamster Wheel was also made craftable, and now attracted Donkey. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Australian Devil, Suri Alpaca and Tasmanian Devil.
 
 
 
On 5/22, the Snazzy Lodge and Soccer Goal were made craftable with Attraction Coins. Until 5/27, Attraction Coins gained from ranks increased in the same way as previous instances, and players could earn Attraction entries for every 10 Friends encountered (up to 100, for 10 tickets). A Seiryu printer was also active for the same duration, containing a rerun of the Happy Trick Theater.

On the same day, an event surrounding the Otter Friends was active; players had to encounter the following Friends X times and use/get A and B-ranks with them in the Attraction: Asian Small-Clawed Otter (both Generations) and Japanese River Otter.
 
 
 
On 5/28, a feature that allowed players to make social media posts for encountered Friends and Attraction scores was added. A new daily challenge was also added that awarded 10 PP for clicking the corresponding button once per day.
 
 
 
A Suzaku printer was active from 5/29 to 6/3 to celebrate the Japanese rainy season. It contained a new plaything, the Rainy Bus Stop, and rerun rateups for the Starry Kitten Balloon and Frog Teru Teru Bōzu. An event challenge was also active for the same period; players had to encounter any 50, 150 and 300 Friends to get up to 3 of a second new item, the Frog Friends.
 
 
 
From 5/31 to 6/3, a Seiryu printer was active based around the 4 Park Guardians. It contained rerun rateups of the Plumed Chamber, Secret Training Area, Mysterious Karakuri Organ, and Crystal Fountain.
 
 
 
On 6/1, event challenges were active surrounding Habu. Players had to encounter her up to 5 times., and encounter her alongside the following: Serval, Raccoon/Fennec Fox, Komodo Dragon, King Cobra, and Tsuchinoko.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 6/3. It featured Chapman's Zebra, and included two new items; the Striped Kick Scooter and the Fashion Boutique, the Boutique being time-limited. From 6/5 to 6/10, a series of event challenges surrounding the Savanna area were active. Players had to do the following:<br>

For the same period, a Seiryu printer was active containing a rerun rateup for the Flowery Utakata Stage. The Big Cymbal and Crescent Creek were also made craftable.
 
 
 
On 6/6, event challenges were active for the day centred on Sheep and Dall Sheep. Players had to encounter either of them X times, and use either of them X times in the Attraction and get A/B-ranks.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 6/10. It featured Inugami Gyoubu, and featured a new item (the Forested Gourd Fishpond). The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2030 to 2038, including 8 additional talks. The Bookshelf and Mini Stage were also made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Inugami Gyoubu, Ezo Red Fox, and Raccoon Dog. Additionally, a Byakko printer was active until 6/17 that contained rerun rateups for the Octopus Toy, Pineapple Island and Elephant Watering Can, all of which were changed to attract one new Friend each.

Version 1.11.0 was released on 7/3 with some bug fixes. 50 PP was awarded to players as an apology for the mandatory update.
 
On the same day, a Suzaku printer was active until 7/8 to celebrate Tanabata. It contained a new item, the Heavenly Star Sculpture, and rerun rateups for the Milky Way Bridge and Tanabata Plush Dolls. An event challenge was also active for the same duration, requiring players to encounter any 50, 150 and 300 Friends for up to 3 of a second new item, the Tanabata Streamers. Additionally, the Sasakazari was made craftable, and now attracts Sheep and Giant Panda.
 
 
 
On 7/8, a new daily login reward mechanic was implemented. Players would be awarded ascending amounts of PP for each day of the week they logged into the game. To celebrate the introduction of this mechanic, the first week of rewards (i.e. from 7/8 to 7/15) would have higher PP rewards:<br>
 
- 50, 10, 20, 30, 40, 150 and 300.<br>
 
- The normal rewards after this week were: 10, 20, 50, 50, 100, 70 and 150.
 
 
 
A content update was released later that day. It featured Danzaburou-Danuki, and featured a new item (the Ponpoko Office). The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2063 to 2071, including 8 additional talks. The Campfire was also made craftable, and now attracts White Rhinoceros and White Lion. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Danzaburou-Danuki, Crested Ibis and Scarlet Ibis. Additionally, a Byakko printer was active until 7/15 that contained rerun rateups for the Panda Piggy Bank, Macaron Cushions and Lucky Cat, all of which were changed to attract one new Friend each and were added to the gacha pool.
 
 
 
Event challenges were active from 7/10 to 7/15, centred around both generations of Serval. Players had to encounter each of them 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 times each, and encounter the following Friends together: Serval/Caracal, Serval/Hippopotamus, Serval/Raccoon/Fennec Fox, Serval/Hippopotamus (Gen 2), Serval/Raccoon/Fennec Fox (Gen 2).<br>
 
A Suzaku printer was active for the same period. It contained rerun rateups for the Brick Tower, Dragon Tower and Cat Steamboat. Finally, the Toy Helicopter, Gothic Stage and Blue Light Stage were made craftable with Attraction Coins.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 7/15. It featured Greater Rhea, and included two new items; the Pro Wrestling Ring and the Heart Egg Music Box, the Music Box being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2071 to 2079, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Shaved Ice Machine was made craftable, and now attracts Adélie Penguin. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Greater Rhea, Coyote and Greater Roadrunner.
 
 
 
Event challenges were active on 7/16, to celebrate World Snake Day. Players had to encounter either King Cobra, Habu or Emerald Tree Boa X times, and use the share function at least once.

At the same time, a new Super Unique Behavior item was added to the game and craftable until 10/16; the Training Porch, for Moose and Lion. Attraction Coin gains were increased until 7/22 to help players, and Attraction Tickets were awarded for every 10 encounters until 100.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 7/22. It featured Peach Panther, and included two new items; the Peachy Maid Café and the Aesthetic Salon Set, the Salon Set being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2079 to 2087, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Table Game Machine was made craftable, and now attracts Western Parotia. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Peach Panther, Black Leopard and Suri Alpaca.

From 7/26 to 8/1, to celebrate Pavilion being out for 2 and a half years, players were awarded 150 PP for logging in each day. A Genbu printer was active for the same duration; this was identical to the Genbu printer active on the 2nd anniversary, giving rateups for all time-limited items in the year past.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 7/29. It featured Kodiak Bear, and included two new items; the Swimming Duck Set and the Bear Carving, the Carving being time-limited. Additionally, a Byakko printer was active until 8/19 that contained rerun rateups for the Pancake Cushions, Sake Cup Set, Pirate Ship and Big Bone; all of these except for the Cushions were changed to attract one new Friend each, and were added to the gacha pool.<br>

On 8/27, the aforementioned maintenance period ended, and a new version of the game was released. The customary 50 PP was awarded to players for the update, as well as an extra 1000 PP as an apology for the especially long maintenance period.
 
This also came with a content update that featured Giant Anteater (which was originally intended to happen on 8/26), and included two new items; the Gourmet Buffet and the King Strawberry Pancakes, the Pancakes being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2126 to 2134, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Watermelon Boat was made craftable, and now attracts Spectacled Caiman. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Giant Anteater, Silky Anteater and Southern Tamandua.<br>
 
Since the maintenance effectively cut short the duration of the previous week's printers, the Sivatherium and Orochi rerun printers were reinstated until 8/28. The former was changed from a Byakko to a Suzaku printer so as to not clash with the current week's printer.

On 9/1, events challenges for Chinstrap Penguin were active. Players had to encounter her up to 5 times, use her in the Attraction minigame 5 times and get A/B-ranks, and encounter her alongside the following: Southern Rockhopper Penguin, Royal Penguin/Emperor Penguin, Gentoo Penguin/Humboldt Penguin, New Zealand Giant Penguin, Adélie Penguin.
 
 
 
On 9/2, a Twitter competition was active until 9/15. All players would be given a list of rewards based on the amount of retweets a particular tweet received.<br>
 
- At 100 retweets, everyone receives 150 PP.<br>
 
- At 500, everyone receives another 300 PP.<br>
 
- At 1000, a plaything will be added to the game with a new Unique Behavior for Raccoon.<br>
 
- At 2000, the same would be done for Fennec.<br>
 
- For every 1000 retweets after 2000, this would be repeated with another Friend.<br>
 
Additionally, daily login rewards for this week were boosted, providing the following PP amounts: 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 200, 300.<br>
 
Until 9/8, unlock costs for new areas were also reduced. Instead of every area costing 5000 coins after the first, prices rose in the following order: 700, 1200, 1800, 2500, 3300.<br>
 
Later in the day, a content update was released. It featured Bergman's Bear, and included two new items; the Big Fish Toy and the Roly-Poly Bear, the Bear being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2134 to 2142, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Tsukimi Dango was made craftable, and now attracts Stoat. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Bergman's Bear, Brown Bear and Hippopotamus.

Version 1.14.0 was the seventh major content update for Kemono Friends Pavilion. It was announced in-game and on Twitter on 9/8 (with the version being updated the same day), and released on 9/9. 50 PP was given to players for the mandatory update. The focus of the update was a new Generation 2 area, the Mountain (written in-game as コウザン to differentiate from こうざん). A slew of new content was added, including 7 new Friends (the Generation 2 versions of Crested Ibis, Ezo Red Fox, Silver Fox, Northern White-Faced Owl, Eurasian Eagle-Owl, Giant Panda and Red Panda), 7 new playthings (Round Jungle Gym, Racing Game Machine, Exciting Experiment Set, Karaoke Set, Golden Apple Tree, Matryoshka, Monochrome Tire Tower) - the Matryoshka and Tower being craftable - and 35 new KemoTalks, bringing the total from 2142 to 2177. A set of event challenges was active until 9/16, involving encountering 10, 20, 30 etc. of any Friend in Gen-2 Mountain, culminating in a Monochrome Tire Tower being awarded at 100.

On 10/8, a series of events were active in a collaboration between Pavilion and KF3: Planet Tours. A Suzaku printer was active until 10/29 that contained two new items (the Planet Tours Game Machine and the Kemo Roulette), and rateups for the Colorful Block Puzzle and Exciting Secret Base. A challenge was active until 10/15, awarding a Grandfather Clock for encountering any 100 Friends. Finally, a series of event challenges lasting until 10/16 were active surrounding various KF3 Friends:<br>
 
- Encounter Dhole, Reticulated Giraffe, Meerkat, Lion and Serval up to 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 times each.<br>

A content update was released on 11/11. It featured a new area, the Plains area. A slew of new content was added, including 3 new Friends (Koala, Golden Tiger, Maltese Tiger), 7 new playthings (Koala Block Tower, Rose Garden, Blue Rose Pool, Dumpling Stall, Bamboo Lantern, Big Scrolls, Big Geta) - the Scrolls and Geta being craftable - and 38 new KemoTalks, bringing the total from 2242 to 2280. An event challenges was active until 11/18, involving encountering 10, 20, 30 etc. of any Friend in Plains, culminating in the Big Scrolls being awarded at 100. A content update was released on 11/18. It featured Chestnut Horse, and included two new items; the Toy Derby and the Plush Horse, the Horse being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2280 to 2288, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Autumn Tree was made craftable, and now attracts Axis Deer. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Chestnut Horse, Plains Zebra and Pronghorn.<br>
 
On the same day, to celebrate the 100th day since Attraction rankings were implemented, an event challenge was active until 11/25 that awarded 500 Attraction Coins for playing the Attraction 50 times. For the same period, Attraction Coins gained from ranks increased in the same way as previous instances, and players could earn Attraction entries for every 10 Friends encountered (up to 100, for 10 tickets).
 
 
 
On 11/19, a single KemoTalk was added to the game, bringing the total from 2288 to 2289.
 
 
 
On 11/20, a Seiryu printer was active until 11/25 containing a rerun of Orochi's Grotto. A Genbu printer was active for the same duration, containing reruns of the Domino Set, Pro Wrestling Ring, Floating Bead Rings, Sea Tower, and Colorful Balance Beam. Finally, the Aquatic Basketball Hoop and Bamboo Waterslide were made craftable with Attraction Coins.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 11/25. It featured Kamaitachi (Ten), and featured a new item (the Karakuri Ninja House). The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2289 to 2297, including 8 additional talks. The Big Donabe was also made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Kamaitachi (Ten), Bald Eagle and Panther Chameleon. Additionally, a Byakko printer was active until 12/2 that contained rerun rateups for the Goldfish Bowl, Honey Pot and Brick Fireplace, all of which were changed to attract additional Friends and were added to the gacha pool.

Version 1.16.0 was released on 11/26, and introduced the Pavilion Pass. For 980¥, players received the following benefits for a month:<br>
 
- 50 PP every day.<br>
 
- 10+1 rolls become 10+2 rolls.<br>
 
- Pink buns last twice as long, and free pink buns can be used without having to watch an ad. Buying/renewing the Pass also replenishes pink buns immediately.<br>
 
- Free Attraction entries can be used without having to watch an ad.<br>
 
First-time buyers also receive 1500 PP upon purchase, and renewing the pass (before or after the expiry date) rewards 300 PP.
 
 
 
A Suzaku printer was active from 11/27 to 12/2, to celebrate the beginning of winter. It contained a new item, the Snowman Snow Light, and rerun rateups of the Hot Oden Stall and Warm Cypress Bath. An event challenge was active for the same duration that awarded up to 3 of a second new item (the Cat Bun Cushions) for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends.
 
 
 
Event challenges were active on 11/29 to celebrate International Jaguar Day. Players had to encounter any of the Jaguar Friends (Jaguar, Jaguar (Generation 2), Black Jaguar) 1/2/3/4/5 times, use them in the Attraction 1/2/3/4/5 times, get A/B ranks, and use the share function with them at least once.
 
 
 
Event challenges were active on 12/1, surrounding Pallas's Cat. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times, use her in the Attraction 1/2/3/4/5 times, get A/B ranks, use the share function with them at least once, and encounter her alongside the following Friends: Tibetan Sand Fox, Red Fox, Domestic Dog (Mixed-Breed), Arctic Hare, Arctic Wolf.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 12/2. It featured African Rock Python, and included two new items; the Shooting Game Set and the Serpent Queen's Throne, the Throne being time-limited. From 12/4 to 12/9, a set of event challenges were active centered around the Jungle area. Players had to accomplish the following:<br>
 
- Observe these Friends once each: Okapi, Fossa, Tasmanian Devil, Malayan Tapir, Panther Chameleon, Frilled-Neck Lizard, Indian Elephant, Ocelot, Gastornis, Vampire Bat.<br>
 
- Observe the following Friends together: Asian Small-Clawed Otter/Jaguar, Ocelot/Margay, Black-Tailed Prairie Dog/North American Beaver, Southern Tamandua/Southern Tamandua EX, Scarlet Macaw/Resplendent Quetzal/Indian Peafowl/Gastornis.<br>
 
For the same period, a Genbu printer was active that contained reruns of the Round Jungle Gym, Exciting Experiment Set, Racing Game Machine, Devilish Bathtub and Jet Black Darkness Altar.

A content update was released on 12/9. It featured Giant Otter, and included two new items; the Loudness-Measuring Machine and the Obstacle Float, the Float being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2305 to 2313, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Big Acorn Top was made craftable. A content update was released on 12/16. It featured Barbary Lion, and included two new items; the Punching Machine and the Moroccan Terrace, the Terrace being time-limited. A Suzaku printer was active from 12/18 to 12/25, to celebrate the lead-up to Christmas. It contained a new plaything (the Christmas House) as well as reruns of the White Christmas Tree and Bûche de Noël. An event challenge was active for the same period, awarding up to 3 of a second new item (the Ginger Cookie Set) for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends. Finally, the Christmas Cake, Christmas Boot and Christmas Tree were all made craftable.

A content update was released on 12/23. It featured White Serval, and included two new items; the White Snow Tower and the Serval Balloons, the Balloons being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2321 to 2330, including ''9'' additional talks. Additionally, the Bear Face Cutout was made craftable, and now attracts Japanese Black Bear. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for White Serval, Raccoon and Fennec Fox.
 
 
 
Event challenges were active on 12/24, surrounding Reindeer. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times, use her in the Attraction 1/2/3/4/5 times, get A/B ranks, use the share function with them at least once, and encounter her alongside the following Friends: White Reindeer, Moose, Red Fox/Arctic Fox, Polar Bear, Arctic Wolf. Additionally, the Santa Lucky Beast had an enhanced effect until 12/31.
 
 
 
A Genbu printer was active from 12/25 to 12/30. It guaranteed a 4-star plaything in exchange for 500 PP.<br>
 
Both generations of Serval also received some special event challenges for the same duration. Players had to encounter each of them a set amount of times, use them in the Attraction mini-game a set amount of times and get A/B ranks, and encounter the following Friends simultaneously: Serval/Raccoon/Fennec Fox, Serval/Caracal, Serval/Okapi, Serval/Raccoon/Fennec Fox (Gen 2), Serval/Caracal (Gen 2). <br>
 
Lastly, event challenges were active on 12/25, surrounding White Reindeer. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times, use her in the Attraction 1/2/3/4/5 times, get A/B ranks, use the share function with them at least once, and encounter her alongside the following Friends: Reindeer, Moose, Ezo Red Fox/Silver Fox, Domestic Dog (Mixed-Breed), Tundra Wolf.

The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Holstein Friesian Cattle, Capybara and Domestic Pig.
 
 
 
A Seiryu printer was active from 12/31/20 to 1/6/21, containing a rerun of the Kon Kon Kitchen. Additionally, a number of events celebrating New Year's were active:<br>
 
- A Suzaku printer was active from 12/21/20 to 1/6/21. It contained a new item, the Treasure Ship, and a rerun of the Kite Flying Set.<br>
 
- An event challenge was active for the same period, awarding up to 3 of a second new item (the Lucky Ozōni) for encountering any 50/150/300 Friends.<br>
 
- The Kagami Mochi and Kadomatsu were made craftable, and now attract American Bison and Blue Wildebeest respectively.<br>
 
- Finally, a single KemoTalk was added to the game, bringing the total from 2338 to 2339.
 
 
 
Event challenges were active on 1/1/21, surrounding Aurochs. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times, use her in the Attraction 1/2/3/4/5 times, get A/B ranks, use the share function with them at least once, and encounter her alongside the following Friends: Arabian Oryx, Lion, Moose, Japanese Black Bear, and Pronghorn. Additionally, 150 PP was awarded to players for logging in each day until 1/3, and external PP gains were multiplied by 1.5 until 1/5.
 
 
 
A content update was released on 1/6. It featured Kamaitachi (Setsu), and featured a new item (the Camellia Hot Spring). The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2339 to 2347, including 8 additional talks. The Water Polo Goal was also made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Kamaitachi (Setsu), Arabian Oryx and Thomson's Gazelle. The history of Kemono Friends Pavilion, both in terms of pre-release promotional history and post-release update history.

Version 1.16.1

Version 1.16.1 was released on 1/26/21. It contained minor bug fixes, and changed the app icon to reflect the upcoming 3rd anniversary. 50 PP was given to all players as an apology for the mandatory update.

A content update was released on 1/27. It featured the Generation 2 versions of Suri Alpaca, Brown Bear and Moose. 3 new playthings were added: the Cool Hair Salon Set, the Batting Set and the Warm Wood Stove. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2363 to 2380, including 17 additional talks. Additionally, the Boar Zodiac Ornament was made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for the 3 new Friends, along with the Generation 2 versions of Northern White-Faced Owl and Eurasian Eagle-Owl.

A single KemoTalk was added to the game on 1/28, bringing the total from 2380 to 2381.

A Suzaku printer was active from 1/29 to 2/3 to celebrate Setsubun. It contained a new item, the Oni Onigiri, as well as a rerun of the Demonic Bean Scattering Set. For the same period, an event challenge was active that awarded up to 3 of a second new plaything (the Setsubun Den Den Daiko) for encountering any 50/150/300 Friends. Additionally, the Fukumasu, Red Oni Plush and Blue Oni Plush were all made craftable, and were changed to attract new Friends: Black-Headed Ibis for the Plushes, and Common Degu for the Fukumasu.

On 1/21, an event challenge was active for the day surrounding Long-Tailed Chinchilla. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times, use her in the Attraction mini-game, get A/B-ranks, and use the share function with her at least once. Players also had to encounter her alongside the following Friends: Common Degu, Capybara, Crested Porcupine, North American Beaver, Black-Tailed Prairie Dog.

A content update was released on 2/3. It featured Kamaitachi (Chi), and featured a new item (the Apothecary's Workbench). The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2381 to 2389, including 8 additional talks. The Serval Snow Sculpture was also made craftable, and now attracts White Reindeer. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Kamaitachi (Chi), Domestic Pig and Panther Chameleon. Additionally, a Byakko printer was active until 2/10 that contained rerun rateups for the Simple Trolley Bag, Bread Truck, Starry Fountain, UFO Toy, Ballerina Music Box, Shiba Inu Hug Pillow, Bubble Dome and Running Shoe, all of which were changed to attract additional Friends and were added to the gacha pool.

A Genbu printer was active from 2/5 to 2/10. It contained rerun rateups of the Aquatic Battle Bridge, Big Leaf Tent, Hair Salon Set, Striped Walnut Hoard and Peachy Maid Café. The Bee-Print Sandbag and Juicer Set were also made craftable with Attraction Coins.
For the same period, event challenges were active centered around both generations of Giant Panda. Players had to encounter each of them 1/2/3/4/5/10 times, use each of them in the Attraction mini-game up to 5 times, get A/B-ranks with them, and encounter them alongside the following Friends: Red Panda EX, Sheep, Suri Alpaca, Aardwolf (Gen 2), Raccoon/Fennec Fox (Gen 2).

A content update was released on 2/10. It featured Greater Bird-Of-Paradise, and featured two new items; the Southern-Style Canopy Swing and the Tropical Drinks Wagon, the Wagon being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2389 to 2397, including 8 additional talks. The Kotatsu was also made craftable, and now attracts Pallas's Cat. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Greater Bird-Of-Paradise, Western Parotia and Greater Lophorina.

A Seiryu printer was active from 2/12 to 2/17, containing a rerun of the Ominous Black Door.
Additionally, several features were active to celebrate Valentine's Day:
- A Suzaku printer was active for the same period, containing a new item (the Valentine Car) and a rerun of the Chocolate Fountain.
- An event challenge was active for the same period, awarding up to 3 copies of a second new item (the Valentine Hat) for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends.
- The Valentine Lucky Beast had an enhanced effect until 3/14.
- The Heart Flower Arch, Heart Chocolate Cake and Animal Cake Pop were made craftable.

A content update was released on 2/17. It featured Geoffroy's Cat, and featured two new items; the Big Fluffy Sock and the Fish Tunnel, the Tunnel being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2397 to 2405, including 8 additional talks. The Honey Pot was also made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Geoffroy's Cat, Ocelot and Margay.

Version 1.16.2

Version 1.16.2 was released on 2/18, fixing a bug where the OP movie could not be played on Android 10 devices. 50 PP was awarded to all players as an apology for the mandatory update.

A Seiryu printer was active from 2/19 to 2/24, with a rerun of the Forested Gourd Fishpond.
Additionally, a Suzaku printer was active for the same period to celebrate the Japanese National Cat Day, containing a new item (the Nekochigura Tower) and a rerun of the Swaying Kitten Set. Additionally, several playthings were made craftable and gained new rateups: the Tuna Can, Cat Face Cutout, Big Bell, Cat Mug and Dorayaki House now attracted Leopard EX, Cougar, Bengal Tiger, Siberian Tiger and White Tiger respectively.
Finally, a set of event challenges centered around the Plains area were active for the same period. Players had to accomplish the following:
- Encounter any 1/2/3/4/5/.../20 Friends in the Plains Area.
- Encounter the following Friends once: African Wild Dog, Donkey, Axis Deer, Bald Eagle, Tibetan Sand Fox, Crested Porcupine, Panther Chameleon, Common Ostrich.
- Encounter the following Friends together: Lion/Moose, Arabian Oryx/Thomson's Gazelle, Cheetah/Pronghorn, Desert Warthog/Giant Forest Hog, Okapi/Reticulated Giraffe/Pronghorn.

An event challenge was active on 2/22 to celebrate Cat Day proper. Players had to encounter any feline Friends 1/2/3/4/.../15 times.

A content update was released on 2/24. It featured Rock Ptarmigan, and featured two new items; the Roly-Poly Bird and the Mini Pine Bonsai, the Bonsai being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2405 to 2413, including 8 additional talks. Version 1.16.3

Version 1.16.3 was released on 2/25, fixing a bug where encountering Friends or completing challenges would cause the screen to turn white until the game was restarted. 50 PP was given to players as an apology for the mandatory update.

On 2/26, a Suzaku printer was active to celebrate the leadup to Hinamatsuri. It contained a new item (the Hinamatsuri Mobile) and a rerun of the Peach Blossom Ox Cart. An event challenge was active for the same duration, awarding up to 3 copies of a second new item (the Peach Blossom Fan) for encountering any 50/150/300 Friends. Finally, some previous Hinamatsuri playthings were made craftable and gained new rateups: the Hinadan, Hishi Mochi Cake and Peach Blossom now attracted Eastern Spot-Billed Duck/Passenger Pigeon, Collared Peccary and Domestic Pig respectively.

On 2/27, event challenges were active to celebrate International Polar Bear Day. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times, use the share function with her once, use her in the Attraction game 1/2/3/4/5 times, and get A/B-ranks.

On 2/28, a Seiryu printer was active until 3/3 that contained a rerun of the Secret Training Area.

On 3/1, two separate sets of event challenges were active for the day centered around Northern Goshawk and Domestic Pig. Players had to encounter each of them 5 times, and also had to use Goshawk 5 times in the Attraction mini-game, get A/B-ranks, and use the share function with her once. Finally, Goshawk had to be encountered alongside the following: Bald Eagle, Shoebill, Nothern White-Faced Owl/Eurasian Eagle-Owl, Long-Tailed Chinchilla, Common Degu.

A content update was released on 3/3. It featured Ring-Tailed Lemur, and featured two new items; the Striped Daybed and the Traveller's Tree, the Tree being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2413 to 2421, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Ring-Tailed Lemur, Fossa and Panther Chameleon.

From 3/5 to 3/10, a Seiryu printer was active containing a rerun of the Karakuri Ninja House. A Genbu printer was active for the same duration, containing reruns of the Koala Block Tower, Southern-Style Loft Bed and DIY Set. Also for that period, event challenges centered around the Savanna area were active. Players had to accomplish the following:
- Encounter any 1/2/3/4/.../20 Friends in Savanna.
- Encounter the following Friends: Hippopotamus, Lion, Thomson's Gazelle, African Wild Dog, Meerkat, Bat-Eared Fox, Bengal Tiger, Red Kangaroo, Spotted Hyena, Aurochs.
- Encounter the following Friends at the same time: Aardwolf/Plains Zebra, Giant Pangolin/Giant Armadillo, Leopard EX/Black Leopard, Cheetah/Pronghorn/Greater Roadrunner, Serval/Caracal/Domestic Dog (Mixed-Breed).
Finally, the River Fishing Hut and Peeking Squirrel House were made craftable with Attraction Coins.

A content update was released on 3/10. It featured Japanese Macaque, and featured two new items; the Hot Stone Bath and the Onsen Drink Set, the Drink Set being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2421 to 2429, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Japanese Macaque, Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey and Capybara.

From 3/12 to 3/17, a Seiryu printer was active containing a rerun of the Red Shisa Stage of Everlasting Summer. Additionally, a number of features were active in celebration of White Day:
- Until 3/17, a Suzaku printer was active containing a new item (the Candy Machine) and a rerun of the Heart Macaron Tower.

A content update was released on 3/17. It featured Northern Sea Otter, and featured two new items; the Shell Piñata and the Cuddly Otters, the Otters being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2429 to 2437, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Apple House was made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Northern Sea Otter, Southern Sea Otter and California Sea Lion.

A Seiryu printer was active from 3/19 to 3/24, containing a rerun of the Ponpoko Office. A Genbu printer was also active for the same period, containing reruns of the Cool Hair Salon Set, Round Jungle Gym, Batting Set, Exciting Experiment Set and Racing Game Machine. Furthermore, a series of event challenges centered around the Beach area were active. Players had to accomplish the following:
- Encounter any 10/20/30/40/50 Friends in the Beach.
- Encounter the following Friends: Royal Penguin, African Penguin, Chinstrap Penguin, Great Auk, Bald Eagle, Narwhal, Blue Whale, Great White Pelican, Masked Booby, Orca.
- Encounter the following Friends together: Atlantic Puffin/Tufted Puffin, Crested Ibis/Scarlet Ibis, California Sea Lion/Southern Sea Otter, Short-Beaked Common Dolphin/Common Bottlenose Dolphin/Chinese White Dolphin/Commerson's Dolphin, Japanese Cormorant/Great Cormorant. Finally, the Marine Stage and Hammer Game Machine were made craftable with Attraction Coins.

Event challenges were active on 3/23 to celebrate National Puppy Day. Players had to get 5 encounters, 5 Attraction entries, and 1 photo share with any of the following Friends: Fennec Fox, Ezo Red Fox, Silver Fox, Black-Backed Jackal, Grey Wolf, Tibetan Sand Fox, Red Fox, Coyote, Pale Fox, Bat-Eared Fox, African Wild Dog, Japanese Wolf, Raccoon Dog, Arctic Fox, Arctic Wolf, Domestic Dog (Mixed-Breed), Tundra Wolf, Dhole, Indian Wolf, Fennec Fox (Generation 2), Ezo Red Fox (Generation 2), Silver Fox (Generation 2), Black-Backed Jackal (Generation 2).

A content update was released on 3/24. It featured Seal Brown Horse, and featured two new items; the Smith Machine and the Championship Cup, the Cup being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2437 to 2445, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Seal Brown Horse, Aurochs and Western Lowland Gorilla.

A Suzaku printer was active between 3/26 to 3/31 to celebrate the cherry blossom season. It contained a new item, the Hanami Kotatsu Deck, and a rerun of the Sakura Sidewalk Café. For the same period, an event challenge was active that awarded up to 3 copies of a second new item (the Sakura Photo Frame) for encountering any 50, 150 and 300 Friends. Additionally, the following Playthings were made craftable and gained new rateups: Sakura Tree (Crested Porcupine), Cherry Blossom Petals (Eurasian Beaver), Shedding Sakura Rest Area (Northern Goshawk), Picnic Set (Tundra Wolf).

A Seiryu printer was active from 3/28 to 3/31, containing a rerun of the Mysterious Karakuri Organ.

A content update was released on 3/31. It featured Bornean Elephant, and featured two new items; the Stone Ruins and the Dressed Elephant Sculpture, the Sculpture being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2445 to 2453, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Starry Fountain was made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Bornean Elephant, Indian Elephant and Bengal Tiger.

Two event challenges were active for 4/1:
- The first was in celebration of April Fool's Day. Players had to encounter any of the otter Friends 5 times, use any of them in the Attraction minigame 5 times, and use the share function with them at least once.
- The second was centered around Black Jaguar. Players had to encounter her 5 times, use her in the Attraction 5 times, use the share function with her at least once, and encounter her alongside the following friends: Jaguar, Southern Tamandua/Malayan Tapir, North American Beaver, Brown Bear, White Tiger.

Several features were active on 4/2:
- A Seiryu printer was active until 4/7 with a rerun of the Blue Shisa Stage of Tropical Paradise
- A Suzaku printer was active until 4/7 to celebrate Easter. It contained a new item (the Easter Tree) and reruns of the Plush Easter Bunnies and Colorful Easter Eggs.
- The Easter Lucky Beast had an enhanced effect until 5/2.
- A set of event challenges centered around the Jungle area was active until 4/7. Players had to encounter 10/20/30 Friends in the Jungle, and encounter the following Friends and sets of Friends: Okapi, Margay, Fossa, Tasmanian Devil, Southern Tamandua EX, Ocelot, Common Vampire Bat, Western Lowland Gorilla, Campo Flicker, Siberian Tiger, Northern White-Faced Owl/Eurasian Eagle-Owl, Honey Badger/Greater Honeyguide, King Cobra/Okinawan Habu, Komodo Dragon/Panther Chameleon/Frilled Lizard, Black Jaguar/North American Beaver/Jaguar/Southern Tamandua/Malayan Tapir.
- The Snowy Gazebo and Tackle Machine were made craftable with Attraction Coins.

A content update was released on 4/7. It featured Tsushima Leopard Cat, and featured two new items; the Acorn Seesaw and the High Stone Wall, the Wall being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2453 to 2461, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Blackboard was made craftable, and now attracts Dhole. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Tsushima Leopard Cat, Common Degu and Pallas's Cat.

A Seiryu printer was active from 4/9 to 4/14, containing a rerun of Orochi's Grotto. A Genbu printer was active for the same duration, containing reruns of the Lucky Fountain Mat, White Snow Tower, Loudness-Measuring Machine, Rose Garden and Big Leaf Tent. Finally, event challenges were active centered around both generations of Cougar. Players had to encounter each of them 1/2/3/4/5 times, use them in the Attraction minigame 5 times, use the share function with either of them at least once, and encounter them alongside the following: Thomson's Gazelle, Serval/Caracal, Red Kangaroo, Thomson's Gazelle (Generation 2), Serval/Caracal (Generation 2).

A content update was released on 4/14. It featured Rock Hyrax, and featured two new items; the Bouldering Wall and the Shiny Purple Ore, the Ore being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2461 to 2469, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Writing Desk was made craftable, and now attracts Black Rhinoceros. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Rock Hyrax, Raccoon Dog and Meerkat.

A Seiryu printer was active from 4/16 to 4/21, with a rerun of the Thundercloud Dadaiko. A Genbu printer was active for the same period containing reruns of the Starry Dome, Moo Moo Dairy, Punching Machine, Toy Derby and Blue Rose Pool. A new Super Unique Behavior item was also available for crafting until 7/16: the Sunlit Flower Seesaw, for Southern Tamandua and Southern Tamandua EX. The Training Porch and Whack-A-Mole were also reran for that period. Until 4/21, Attraction Coin gains were increased and Attraction Tickets were awarded for every 10 Friend encounters until 100.

A content update was released on 4/21. It featured Black Swan, and featured two new items; the Chic Tiara Island and the Floating Black Swan Bed, the Bed being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2469 to 2477, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Black Swan, Greater Flamingo and Meerkat.

Seiryu and Genbu printers were active from 4/23 to 4/28. The former contained a rerun of the Flowery Utakata Stage, and the latter contained reruns of the Big Fluffy Sock, Southern-Style Canopy Swing, Shooting Game Set, Koala Block Tower, and Southern-Style Loft Bed.
Event challenges were active for the same duration centered around penguin Friends; players had to encounter any 1/2/3/.../10/12/14/.../20 penguin Friends. The Single Mic, PPP Jet and Penguin Tower were also made craftable, and the Penguin Tower was changed to attract Adelie Penguin.
More event challenges were also active for the day only, centered around Pallas's Cat; players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times and use the share function with her at least once.

On 4/27, event challenges were active for the day to celebrate World Tapir Day. Players had to encounter either Malayan Tapir or Mountain Tapir 1/2/3/4/5 times, and use the share function with either of them at least once.

A content update was released on 4/28. It featured Pale-throated Sloth, and featured two new items; the Big Apple Ball and the Sloth Parent & Child Plush, the Plush being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2477 to 2485, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Big Megaphone was made craftable, and now attracts Honey Badger. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Pale-Throated Sloth, Silky Anteater and Common Vampire Bat.

From 4/30 to 5/5, a Suzaku printer was active to celebrate Golden Week. It contained a new item, the Lucky Ride, and a rerun of the Mock Sumo Ring. For the same period, an event challenge was active that awarded up to 3 copies of a second new item (the Gardening Set) for encountering any 50/150/300 Friends. Finally, the Decorative Helmet and Carp Streamer were made craftable, and now attract Japanese Black Bear and White Tiger respectively.

On 5/1, event challenges were active for the day centered around Dall Sheep. Players had to encounter her 1/2/3/4/5 times, use the share function with her at least once, and encounter her alongside the following Friends: Sheep, Himalayan Tahr, Suri Alpaca, Dhole, Reticulated Giraffe.

A Seiryu printer was active from 5/2 to 5/5, containing a rerun of the Crystal Fountain.

A content update was released on 5/5. It featured Iriomote Cat, and featured two new items; the Cat's Tree Café and the Toy Signs, the Signs being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2485 to 2493, including 8 additional talks. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for Iriomote Cat, Domestic Pig and Suri Alpaca.

Seiryu and Genbu printers were active from 5/7 to 5/12; the former contained a rerun of the Camellia Hot Spring, and the latter contained reruns of the Roly-Poly Bird, Lucky Shower Mat, Loudness-Measuring Machine, Toy Derby, and Aquatic Battle Bridge.
For the same period, event challenges were active centered around both generations of Aardwolf. Players had to encounter each of them 1/2/3/5/10 times, use each of them in the Attraction minigame 1/2/3/4/5 times, use the share function with either of them at least once, and encounter them alongside the following: Serval, Spotted Hyena, Campo Flicker, Serval (Generation 2), Plains Zebra (Generation 2). Additionally, the Tulip Lamp and Carnation Bouqeut were made craftable (newly attracting Greater Honeyguide and Oriental Stork), and the Dragon Tower and Street Performance Set were made craftable with Attraction Coins.

A content update was released on 5/12. It featured White Horse, and featured two new items; the Hurdle Set and the Warm Footbath, the Footbath being time-limited. The total number of KemoTalks was raised from 2493 to 2501, including 8 additional talks. Additionally, the Crocodile Float was made craftable. The Weekly challenges for this update required encounters and Attraction entries for White Horse, Arabian Oryx and Thomson's Gazelle.
