Kemono Friends: Welcome to Japari Park! (Japanese: けものフレンズ ようこそジャパリパークへ！ Hepburn: Kemono Furenzu: Yōkoso Japari Pāku e!) is a two-volume manga, written by Furai, about the Kemono Friends series. It is a lighthearted story that showcases many Friends and their adventures within Japari Park, which is notably inhabited by humans in addition to Friends. It stars Nana, a young Caretaker recently employed by the park, as well as the various Friends under her care.
Yen Press announced that it would be publishing the manga in English during their Anime Expo 2017 panel. The two volumes have been released as one omnibus book with a print and digital release as of February 6, 2018.
Plot
Having dreamt of taking care of the amazing and mysterious Friends since childhood, Nana has finally achieved her dream of being hired by Japari Park. She meets with her new boss, Mirai, a seasoned Park Guide, who introduces her to the Friends she will be taking care of. One is Serval, a warm and friendly cat who is enthusiastic to meet her new human Caretaker. The other, however, an Ezo Red Fox Friend, is much less keen on the idea. She expresses her distaste for following others' rules and makes it clear to Nana that she won't be listening to a word she says. Nana learns quickly that taking care of Friends is no walk in the park.
