Japanese Cormorant possesses the same verbal tic as her Nexon incarnation; a tendency to end sentences with "-u" (う), including replacing "desu" (です) with "deu" (でう).

海に面した断崖や海岸の岩場に暮らし、背面は暗緑色光沢なのがウミウです。くちばしの先が釣状に尖っているのは浦らえた魚を逃さないためで、優れた視力で狙います。鳥は羽に油を塗って水をはじきますが、鵜はそうしません。潜り重視で浮力を少なくしているのです。濡れた羽は広げて乾かします。

「白いところがちょっぴり広いウミウだう!お腹空いてるでうか?魚でよかったら捕ってくるでうよ。潜るのが得意でうが、顔だけ出して泳ぐのも好きだう。体が重くて沈んでるわけじゃないんでう!水遊びしたから日向ぼっこしてくでうよ。カワウちゃんもやるでう!(バッ!)」
