Role in the Plot

Italian Wolf's Character Quest

Gray Wolf has a prominent role in this quest. During Italian Wolf's flashback, she calls a meeting for the Wolf Federation to meet at the Wolf House, which is attended by Italian Wolf, herself, Japanese Wolf, and Coyote. She then proposes that in order to make it easier to communicate due to increased Cellien activity, the Federation should learn a common howl to communicate with. While Japanese Wolf and Coyote agree, Italian Wolf disagrees, and after a fight, storms out into the forest.

Gray Wolf begins to search for Italian Wolf, but is unable to find her at first. Eventually, Italian Wolf howls for help, causing Gray Wolf to appear and rescue her. Afterwards, Gray Wolf explains that she considers everyone in the Wolf Federation friends, and that she wants to be able to protect them. She then asks Italian Wolf to be her friend. This causes Italian Wolf to cry, and she accepts, and from this point on, she refers to Gray Wolf as "big sis". After the flashback ends, Italian Wolf imitates Gray Wolf's howl, causing her to go over to where Italian Wolf and Serval are.
