全身は白く、頭部は黒い皮膚が裸出しています。くちばしと脚も黒のモノトーンなトキです。くちばしは長く下に曲がっています。けい部の毛はフサフサしていて、マフラーを巻いているようです。日本でも江戸時代に生息していた記録がありますが、現在は冬にごくまれに渡来するぐらいです。 「わたし、トキちゃんやショウジョウトキちゃんみたいにカラフルじゃないから、地味…ですよね。わかってます。でも白黒がいいって言ってくれることもあって。パンダトキとかいう名前だったら、”鳥生”変わってたかな？でもこの名前、好きです。落ち着いた感じが、性格に合ってるなって」	{{{endescription}}}
