|appearance=Lappet-Faced Vulture has a pixie cut with light pink hair color. The tip of her forehand bang has patches of light lilac, yellow and dark grey; the coloration resembles the species' beak. A pair of blackish wings with white underside pattern grow at each side of her head as the typical feature of bird Friends. She has wine red eyes and 'stripes' around the lower eyelids. | |||

|reallife=Lappet-Faced Vulture is a large scavenging bird living in habitats like open grassland and dry savanna in Sub-Sahara Africa, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman. The bird’s bare, pink head and large, fleshy folds of skin on the sides of its neck are their unique features. It has dark feather with wingspan 2.6 m (8.5 ft). The vulture feeds mainly on large carcasses or remains. It is also known to hunt for young or weak preys including retiles, fish, birds and mammals. Being the strongest vulture and having a powerful beak, it can tear through tough mammal hide the other vultures cannot penetrate. Therefore, it is usually the first vulture to feed. It has been observed apparently raiding flamingo colonies for their chicks and eggs. Different from other vultures, the lappet-faced vulture does not find carrion through smell but watch other vultures’ movement to locate the food. | |||
Its population is decreasing due to human activities such as disturbances of habitats and nesting sites, ingestion of poisons that are set out for mammalian carnivores to protect domestic cattle. In some instances, the poison is set by poachers to kill vultures which will alert authorities about their illegal killings of protected species.
