The Golden Tiger is a tiger with a "blonde" coat compared to the orange-coated tigers. They are not a true subspecies, instead the distinct golden color is caused by a recessive gene, much like [[White Tiger]] and [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_tiger Black tigers].
