|introduction=Amusement Park (Japanese: ゆうえんち Hepburn: Yūenchi) is the twelfth episode of the Kemono Friends anime series, and the finale of the first season.
|summary=Episode 12 starts with Serval waking up on the docks near the boat, with the help of Brown Bear, followed by Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey and African Wild Dog. Serval wonders where Kaban is, and Monkey reveals that she has been eaten by a Cellien when she saved Serval from it. Bear says she found her inside the Black Cerulean and Serval on the ground, that there was nothing she could do, and that at this point, she has likely been digested. Serval rejects that and demands that they go save her, but the hunters say they have to defeat the Cellien before it's too late. Bear tells Serval to give up, but Lucky Beast joins in on the conversation and requests that Serval and Brown Bear go save Kaban. The Friends find it weird that Boss is talking in Kaban's absence, to which Lucky answers that he is allowed to talk to Friends when a human is in danger, and tells them to lure the Cellien to the boat. Serval and Bear finally set out, and Lucky says he had fun in his travels with Kaban and Serval.

The duo finds the Cellien and spot Kaban inside of it. They attack the leg together, but fail to apply significant damage. Kaban's bag falls from the Cellien's body, which leads Serval to start attacking it's legs in a frenzy, again to no avail. Serval grabs onto the leg, demanding the monster to return her friend. Suddenly, two slashing attacks hit the Cellien's upper body, as Northern White-Faced Owl and Eurasian Eagle-Owl arrive to the scenes, but their attacks also seem to fail. The owls reveal that Lucky had sent a signal to all other Lucky Beasts in the island, to warn all Friends to congregate for the battle. The owls continue to attack, but again, with little success. After a small speech, the owls proceed to say "you will now release your wild sides".

The opening theme of the season starts playing, as every major Friend met along the journey joins in for the final conflict. Raccoon, Otter and Giraffe grapple one of it's legs, as Hippo and PPP attack other legs. Wolf and Jaguar appear from a bush, claws shining, and slash the Cellien's lower body. Margay imitates the monster's cry, confusing it, as it puts down it's leg into a pitfall trap built by Fennec, Sandcat and Prairie Dog under Beaver's instructions. Crested Ibis and Campo Flicker arrive, carrying Lion and Moose, dropping them onto the Cellien as they dish further hits. Alpaca, Silver Fox and Ezo Red Fox drop water onto one of it's legs as per Tsuchinoko's instructions, who had theorized the beast was composed of volcanic rock; it's leg solidifies into stone. They run off to gather more water, and Brown Bear charges towards it, is propelled upwards by Monkey and African Wild Dog, and smashes through its leg containing Kaban. As the Cellien prepares to attack again, Serval throws a paper airplane on fire to distract it, allowing the Friends to run away with what was left of Kaban.

In a nearby creek, the Friends watch, on a sad tone, as Kaban slowly reverts to her original animal form. However, because she's human, Kaban returns to her normal state, albeit with parts of her clothing disappearing due to the loss of Kemonoplasm. Serval, unsure if she maintained her memories, asks what was the first thing she said when they met, to which Kaban answers "please don't eat me", confirming no memory loss happened. They hug, and then go check on the boat. The Black Cellien stepped into the boat, causing it to sink with Lucky and the monster alike. The Cellien is turned into rocks, and Lucky is appearently lost. After a long search, they find a Lucky Beast, which turns out to be a different one. They're initially sad, but Kaban spots several remaining parts of their Lucky on the sand, including it's modules that enable it's speech and memory, and it says "Hello, Kaban!". Serval, startled, throws it into the water, but it's soon recovered.

A month later, all of the major Friends who joined in the battle are partying, with Bear cooking for the owls and Alpaca serving tea around. Margay watches as Crested Ibis and Scarlet Ibis sing together with PPP, Otter and Prairie Dog play around, while Lion and Ezo Red Fox lazy around. Serval and Kaban arrive, and Lucky, now turned into a watch, mentions that they're now in an amusement park. Princess announces that it's the one month anniversary of the defeat of the Black Cellien and Kaban discovering her identity, and congratulates Kaban, who then say it was all thanks to the Friends. Kaban says she doesn't remember how it felt to be engulfed by the Cellien, and announces to everyone that she is, indeed, a human, yet she still doesn't know what territory humans live in, and wants to find out. The speech is interrupted by the owls, annoyed it's taking too long to get to the food. Everyone just decides to stop and go eat.

Otter and Prairie Dog start playing with the attractions, and Moose surprises Jaguar by challenging her to arm wrestling. Wolf shares her Giro Giro manga with Beaver and Ezo Red Fox. Lion suggests cooking a Japari Bun, and Campo Flicker mentions she'd like to put those on the lodge's menu. Raccoon finally explains her side of the story with the hat - she was chasing the hat on the day of the eruption, and a shadow emerged from inside it. Tsuchinoko mentions it seems that hair turning into Friends is a pattern. Silver Fox mentions that it seems that humans have aggressively attempted to defeat the Celliens, to which the Professor deducts to be why humans were always near them. African Wild Dog asks about Boss, and Serval replies that he's "small, but fine" after having been turned into a watch, but complains that he no longer talks to her. Sandcat asks, doubtfully, if he really did talk to Serval, to which Serval said Lucky can only talk to her when a human is threatened. Kaban suggests that Serval playfully threaten to eat her, to which Serval asks why, and Kaban asks her to just roll with it; once done, Lucky finally speaks up, to alert Serval not to eat Kaban, proving Serval's point.

Sitting in a bench, Serval and Kaban start talking, and Kaban apologizes for making Serval leave and not return to the Savanna, to which Serval answers it's fine, and she enjoyed tying the loose ends. Kaban says it was a good thing they had a boat, and didn't know how could have they done anything about it if not. Serval, somewhat guilty, asks if she wanted to go out into the ocean and find out more, to which Kaban replied yes, but said it was fine since she made many new friends already, and the world can wait. Serval looks sideways and spots Fennec signaling something. Serval suggests to take Kaban for a ride in the ferris wheel, to which Kaban reluctantly agrees, asking if it's safe. Serval says it's fine, and immediately after that another cabin on the wheel drops into the ground, but they remain seated.

During the ride, the Lucky watch starts another hologram of Mirai-san, saying she's sad that she couldn't save the park, but happy for the memories she made, and that she had to go through the wheel one last time. She tells her Lucky to take care of things, and her hat flies away. As the ride ends, Fennec and Raccoon come near and tell Kaban they have something for her, and they unveal a repaired front part of the Japari Bus, with a bowl on the back and logs on the side. Happily surprised, Kaban asks if Serval knew about it, to which she replies that she took part in it, and names some other Friends involved in it. As they talk, several Friends push the repaired bus towards the water, which shocks Kaban at first, but when it hits the water, it succesfully floats. Kaban realises it's purpose: a replacement boat, and hugs Serval in gratitude.

The Friends gather around the docks to bid farewell to Kaban. Serval tells her to take care, holding her hat, which Kaban gave her to keep. Kaban thanks everyone. The Friends start to individually talk - Bear says she saved the Park, Campo Flicker tells her to sleep often and well, Silver Fox says they learned a lot from her. Margay says she has her dream job thanks to Kaban, and the professor says they know she'll be fine. Lion tells her to take it easy, Moose tells her to keep going, and Crested Ibis wonders if she'll really be okay. Kaban says that she doesn't know where she's going, how it's like, or if it even exists, and therefore can't invite any of them, but promises she'll come back with something fun or delicious. To appease everyone's worries, Kaban climbs up a tree, mimicking Serval's "Myas" while doing so, then climbs it down - the Friends clap their hands to her, and Kaban states them all taught her how to find food, sleep safely and climb trees, tearfully saying that she'll be fine.

Kaban finally moves towards the pier, boards the bus-turned-boat, and with Lucky's help, manages to make it move and steer. The Friends wave to hear, and she waves back and honks the bus' horn, finally leaving. The Friends start moving away from the pier, Serval doing so particularly slowly. Soon after, a bus-like object making pedal noises leaves the pier from the side, with Serval's tall ears being visible from the outside.

Cutting to Kaban, she spots land, and asks Lucky if the land she sees has a name, and Lucky responds by calling it Gokoku Region, but alerting it's in a different jurisdiction and he doesn't know much about it, but like the Kyoshu Region they just left, it is consisted of multiple areas, and that it's possible that there are Friends there. Kaban continues to drift there, and the scene shifts to the credits.

As the credits end, Lucky alerts the bus has ran out of battery, and Kaban yells in surprise. The bus-like object, with Serval on it's watch, catches up and hits the back of the front part. Kaban, surprised, welcomes the arrival of Serval as well as some other Friends, name or appearance not shown. Serval says they wanted to accompany her for a while longer, and her conversation is crashed in by a third voice, wondering where they are going. Kaban asks what kind of Friend they are and Serval playfully says that they'll be friends as the episode ends.
They are famous for their wide knowledge as a Friend. They proudly consider themselves as wise and get highly defensive when a Friend say the opposite.
|plotrole==== Episode 7 - Japari Library ===
Eurasian Eagle-Owl first meets Kaban and Serval right outside the Library. As the assistant to professor Northern White-Faced Owl, she's reputable as one of the wisest Friends in Japari Park. They maintain the library and tend to help Friends with any questions that they might have, including about their identity, which Kaban was interested in learning about.

After hearing Kaban's request, the owls decide to help her, but under the condition that Kaban cooks good food for them, under a time limit. During the cooking, both Eurasian Eagle-Owl and Northern White-Faced Owl show fear of fire.

Kaban ends up making curry. The owls start eating it, albeit the spiciness scared them at first. It doesn't take long for Eurasian Eagle-Owl to take a second bite, however - and after that, both owls start eating it compulsively. They ultimately agree to answer Kaban's question.

Later, Northern White-Faced Owl tells Kaban that she is a human, which, to the professor's surprise, did not shock Kaban at all. The owls then tell Kaban of many human traits, that Japari Park was built by humans, and that Friends are simply animals turned into humans. Soon after, they also break the news that humans are long gone, either extinct or, at least, could not stay in Japari Park. The assistant alerts Serval that remaining outside of their home area reduces their lifespan, and they hand out a PPP Platinum Ticket that grants them access to their show, a present from the idol group after the owls assisted them with preparing a stage, but they are not interested in attending due to disliking noises.

When Kaban and Serval are about to depart, the assistant admits that she only made the two cook because they succesfully passed the quiz maze at the entrance of the library, stating that it signs the visitor can read. The owls alert Kaban and Serval that Celliens are often seen near humans, and hint that Serval would not be capable to protect Kaban as easily as Serval claimed. They bid farewell as the bus departs, and Eurasian Eagle-Owl states that she will be waiting for more food.
Western Parotia is a type of bird Friend.
|appearance=Following the theme shared with Greater Lophorina, Western Parotia's design follows a "black ballet" theme for most of the clothing, with minor colorful details based on the animal's.

Parotia's hair is short but puffy, being almost entirely black, with the upper part being black with a white part on the front and spiky on it's sides, simulating the head of a real parotia. Two pairs of spatulate wires come out of her hair, one in each side, partially mimicking real parotias (which have three pairs). While her hair covers the majority of her head (even part of the cheeks), it does not cover her dark blue eyes.

She wears a long, black cape that covers her entire upper body, joining up around a thicker section in her neck. Nearby, Parotia wears a large bow tie, mostly yellow, but with a gradient shift as they approach it's tips, going through green and blue, then finally ending in a purple tone.

The upper part of her lower body is mostly hidden, but puffy shorts resembling that of a ballerina can be seen. Following the theme, she wears tights that covers everything from her feet to, at least, her thighs (likely further, but can't be seen due to the cape and shorts). Finally, her feet are also equipped with dark gray ballerina shoes, tied around her shins, with a dark gray bow adorning her feet's bridges.
|reallife=The western parotia or Arfak parotia, is a medium-sized, bird-of-paradise with a medium-length tail. They measure about 28 to 34 cm long, and weighs between 150 and 250 g. Endemic to Indonesia, the western parotia is found only in the mountain forests of Vogelkop and the Wandammen Peninsula of Western New Guinea. Thier habitat is mid montane forests and well-established secondary forests. The western parotia is sexually dimorphic. The male has black plumage with an iridescent structurally coloured golden-green breast shield and triangular silver feathers on its crown. It is adorned with elongated black plumes at the sides of the breast and three erectilespatulate head wires behind each eye. The female is unadorned and has brown plumage. The nest is built and attended by the female alone. The species is polygynous. The diet consists mainly of fruits such as figs, and arthropods. In courtship display, the male performs a ballerina-like dance with its elongated black plumes spread around skirt-like, right below the iridescent breast shield. During the spectacular dance, he shakes his head and neck rapidly to show the brilliance of his inverted silver triangle-shaped head adornment to attending females.
Greater Lophorina is a type of bird Friend.
|appearance=Similarly to her partner Western Parotia, Greater Lophorina wears long, covering clothing with a largely black theme. Her hair is puffy and middle-sized, reaching shoulder length, being larger on the back and the sides than in the front, which exposes her black eyes. Black details that resemble a feather and a beak appear in her head, the latter adorned by two blue details on it's side.

Lophorina wears a black sweater, covered partially by a large, circular black cape that joins in a button near her neck. From the same point starts a large and shiny blue adornment that mimics that of the animal, covering the upper part of her chest even further. She also wears black gloves.

Much simpler than her upper clothing, her lower are composed of simple black tights that cover her from the feet to the hips, as well as dark gray ballerina shoes tied up to the center of her shins, embellished by bows near the ankles.
|reallife=The greater lophorina or greater superb bird-of-paradise are distributed throughout rain forests of New Guinea. It also inhabits in rain forests or forest edges of Indonesia. The greater lophorina travels across the trees in the forest to catch its prey which can vary depending on seasonal availability of food. They have not only been known to eat fruits and insects, but also have been spotted preying on larger animals such as frogs, reptiles, and other small birds. They can sometimes be seen foraging food on the grounds of the forest for insects. The species has an unusually low population of females, and competition amongst males for mates is intensely fierce. This has led the species to have one of the most bizarre and elaborate courtship displays in the avian world. After carefully and meticulously preparing a "dance floor" (even scrubbing the dirt or branch smooth with leaves), the male first attracts a female with a loud call. After the curious female approaches, his folded black feather cape and blue-green breastshield springs upward and spreads widely and symmetrically around its head, instantly transforming the frontal view of the bird into a spectacular ellipse-shaped creature that rhythmically snaps its tail feathers against each other, similar to how snapping fingers work, whilst hopping in frantic circles around the female. The average female rejects 15-20 potential suitors before consenting to mate. The greater lophorina forms their nest on top of trees using soft material that they find around the forest such as leaves.
|trivia=* The greater lophorina was formerly considered the only species in its genus, Lophorina, until 2018, when the crescent-caped lophorina (Lophorina niedda, also known as the Vogelkorp superb bird-of-paradise) was identified as a distinct species, rather than a subspecies.
Kemono Friends 2, known informally as Kemono Friends Season 2, is a CGI anime series that premiered on January 7th, 2019. The series was first announced to be in production via the Kemono Friends Official Guidebooks, however, the aftermath of the Tatsuki scandal caused the future of the series to go into doubt. The series was eventually confirmed to be going forward on September 2nd, 2018, via an official PV. Shortly after, on September 19th, a Twitter account was opened revealing the first key visual for the series, which was continually updated with new characters that will be appearing as time went on. On October 29th, 2018, the broadcast date and main cast list was finally revealed via the official Kemono Friends website.

The series is simulcast with English subs on Crunchyroll. It premiered on January 14th, 2019, a week after its Japanese broadcast debut, with new episodes airing on Mondays. The series is also airing on the Southeast Asian anime channel Aniplus Asia, premiering on January 15th, 2019, with new episodes airing on Tuesdays.

While the events of the original Kemono Friends are briefly alluded to in the first episode, it's unknown to what extent Kemono Friends 2 relates to the first season.
Kyururu is the human main character of Kemono Friends 2.

Appearance
Kyururu has black hair, with it's edges gradually shifting towards a turquoise-like color. While the eyes' iris are blue, Kyururu's eyes are unique for having differently-colored pupils, with the right pupil having a red color, and the left pupil having a tone somewhere between light blue and light green.

She wears a black shirt, partially covered by a blue sleeveless jacket as upper clothing. The lower clothing consists of gray pants that go all the way to Kyururu's shins and then fold, held together by a white belt. Her shoes are light blue, with a darker tone near the heel.

Lastly, Kyururu carries around a sketchbook (aptly titled "sketch book") with yellow-dark green rectangular shapes and logo, as well as a blue and dark blue backpack with a single strap, going diagonally through her chest.
Personality
Much about Kyururu's personality is currently unknown. However from what can be seen from the second PV for S2, she is soft-spoken and timid much like Kaban. She seems to enjoy drawing in the sketchbook she holds closely as she can be seen drawing in the PV on the train with Caracal and Serval as well as taking in the environment with pencil in hand and her sketchbook open in the promotional poster.
Role in the Plot
Episode 1 - ?
Relationships
Caracal and Serval
While the circumstances of their meeting and traveling together are currently unknown, they appear to get along well with Kyururu and are willing to help her get to wherever she wants to go as well as protect her from Celliens along the way.
{{EpisodeBuilder
|introduction=Cerulean (Japanese: せるりあん; Hepburn: Serurian) is the eleventh episode of the Kemono Friends anime's first season. It introduces Brown Bear, Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey and African Wild Dog.
|summary=Picking up from where Episode 10 - Lodge left off, Kaban and Serval move towards the mountain to investigate a loud noise, spotting a large, round, black Cellien, which chases and corners the duo. Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey/Anime arrives from the back and defeats the Cellien in a single blow. The three of them introduce themselves to each other, with Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey constantly reminding them to be careful. Lucky Beast requests Kaban to "survey the situation". Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey, tells them to hide whenever they are done.

The three start walking, and Kaban asks what happens if a Cellien eats you. Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey remarks that to say that it causes death is an exaggeration, while Serval continues by warning that the victims can no longer talk and forget about other Friends. Serval, then, wonders why Celliens go after Friends, to which Monkey replies comments that there are rumors that Celliens eat Sandstar. Ever cautious, Monkey tells them that, regardless of the reason, the best option is to flee. The three spot a large set footprints on the ground, which Monkey claims to belong to a Cellien they are hunting. Brown Bear/Anime comes in from a bush, startling Kaban, prompting her catchphrase "don't eat me". Bear and Monkey start commenting that they've defeated the Celliens they were chasing, and Monkey mentions that it was hard to believe that fragments of a Cellien could move, too. Serval is surprised to know the monster that cornered them was merely a fragment, causing Bear to brag that it isn't the largest they've handled. Bear asks where the main Cellien is, and Monkey mentions African Wild Dog/Anime is tracking it.

The ground shakes. A Sandstar eruption in the mountain starts. Monkey says these have been frequent recently. Lucky Beast starts letting out alert noises and lights, mentioning that Sandstar Raw concentration is high and a large eruption is imminent. Bear and Monkey set off to find and fight the Cellien. Serval offers help, but Bear shuts her down, saying she could not handle a single fragment and she would weight them down. Monkey apologizes for Bear, and the group splits up. Lucky Beast says he will check the mountain and leaves too, but Kaban and Serval quickly go after him. As they climb, they remember that Mirai's recording mentioned something in the mountain earlier, and that the Cellien footprints start near the top. Serval also notes the footprints get smaller as they climb.

Switching back to Bear and Monkey, Monkey mentions Bear could've been more gentle, and also that she thinks Bear was rude because she was worried about them. Monkey notes the footprints are getting bigger. African Wild Dog shows up - they've finally encountered the Cellien again. African Wild Dog mentions that it's huge size might cause it to perish on it's own if it doesn't eat enough Sandstar. Bear notes that Celliens might change shapes, so, to be safe, the trio of Cellien Hunters engage on spot. Bear tells the rest of the team to use their Wild Release from the start.

Back at Kaban, Serval and Lucky, Serval requests a pause from climbing. Kaban mentions there is something different about this Cellien. Lucky Beast plays another recording from Mirai, mentioning the Black Cellien was getting energy from the mountain, and that the "filter" on the mountain needed to be re-affixed. Mirai also mentions her group managed to line up the Four Gods and that she's descending the mountain to fight the beast, because even though every Friend has already been evacuated, she couldn't leave the monster on the island. Cutting back to the Hunters, Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey appears knocked out, while Brown Bear and African Wild dog are panting, nearly exhausted. The Cellien's weak spot is revealed and the two remaining combatants prepare to strike it, as the Cellien raises his leg. Back at Kaban & Serval, Mirai's recording mentions that it didn't matter how many times it was attacked, the Cellien would absorb Sandstar Raw to heal itself, as well that it seemed to move in the sun's direction, while disliking the ocean. Mirai, then, calls for Caracal and Serval, then mentions the Four Gods are located near the "valuable thing" she mentioned before, as the recording stops. Serval shows confusion, and a loud noise is heard from the base of the mountain. The two spot the Cellien fighting the Hunters. Serval wants to help them, but Kaban says she think they should go to the peak of the mountain first.

At the peak, they see both crystals of normal Sandstar and black flakes of Sandstar Raw leaving the volcano. Kaban says that, if the recordings are true, the "Four Gods" should be around, and they start searching the spot. Raccoon/Anime finally catches up to Kaban, jumping on her from behind. As they both fall to the ground, Fennec Fox/Anime arrives, Raccoon accused Kaban of being a hat thief and takes her hat. Serval comes to her defense, saying she wouldn't steal. Raccoon attaches a red feather to the hat and Serval comes to Kaban to help her get up. Only after Serval mentions Kaban's name, Raccoon realises that the Kaban she's been hearing of throught her chase is the "hat thief" she was chasing. Fennec points out it was a misunderstanding, and after some resistance, Raccoon gives Kaban her hat back and apologizes. Mirai's recording starts again, mentioning the locations of the Four Gods' tablets and their directions, and that if it is indeed filtering Sandstar Raw, it is the island's treasure. Fennec, used to getting lost while following Raccoon, quickly lectures Kaban on cardinal directions. The four of them look for the statues and find three of them. Kaban associates that the fourth one being missing might be the cause of the Sandstar Raw eruptions. She notice a sliver of land not belonging to the island on the map, then lowers the map from her view to spot land on the distance. She soon dismisses it to focus on finding the last tablet again.

The Hunters, still fighting the Cellien, start to notice odd behavior from their enemy. Sandstar Raw pours out of the volcano at an accelerated pace, and the Cellien heals some of it's damage and grows much larger. The stone, it's weak point, is covered. Brown Bear tries to strike quickly, but it's too late - the attack is deflected by the Cellien's hard body. At the mountain, Raccoon and Fennec finally find the last tablet. Lucky starts alerting once more about large amounts of Sandstar Raw, warning of a colossal Cellien's imminent appearance and making a call for park staff to evacuate, mentioning Sunrise Harbor as the nearest evacuation point. Kaban tries to comfort it, but Lucky rejects, saying that the safety of visitors is above all else. Kaban says she is not a visitor, and she will do whatever she can for the Friends. She picks up Mirai's hat and wears it. Lucky sets Kaban as a "temporary Park Guide", albeit not without telling her to run if it gets too dangerous. Raccoon, Fennec and Serval dig up a tablet with a turtle inscription on it. After the Friends put the tablet up, the filter affixes itself, and the Black Cellien stops healing and growing. It's attack is also interrupted as it starts moving towards the sunset. The Hunters cherish the pause briefly, but Bear is quick to point out the Cellien is still endangering many friends. The Bus arrives, with Serval calling for Bear and Monkey.

Kaban, Serval, Raccoon, Fennec, Lucky and the Hunters all convene at a firepit to come up with a plan to fight the Cellien. Kaban believes the Cellien follows light and suggests they bait the Cellien with the Bus's headlights towards the ocean at night, and using fire to lure it if it loses sight of the Bus. All Friends except Brown Bear are startled by fire, so Bear naturally takes responsability. Kaban tells them to run away when they reach the coast, and that she plans on luring the Cellien to the boat, causing it to sink along with it. Fennec and Raccoon compliment the plan, but Serval says she can't do that, else she will no longer have the boat to look for other humans, but Kaban deflects by saying everyone's safety comes first. Kaban tells Raccoon and Fennec to lead nearby Friends away from danger when the plan is set in motion. Monkey is ashamed due to involving all of them in the battle despite not being Hunters, to which Fennec counters by saying that, when the Park is in danger, everyone must work together. Serval thanks the Hunters for defending them from behind the scenes.

Cutting to the night, Kaban, Serval and Lucky, with only the detached front part of the bus, turn on the headlights, drawing the Cellien's attention. Lucky starts moving the Bus backwards with the headlights pointed at the monster, as Brown Bear watches the whole ordeal from some distance. The Cellien attempts to attack the bus by releasing fragments of itself, but Lucky dodges them. A tree branch gets stuck in the wheels, however, causing the Bus to slow down and stop. With some effort, Lucky gets it unstuck and dodges a step from the Cellien, but the Cellien responds by knocking his body on the ground, the impact causing the Bus to lose control, hitting a tree and flipping. The Cellien prepares to strike the trio, but Serval catches and tosses Kaban and Lucky away in a last-minute move before being hit by the attack. Kaban then sees Serval inside the Cellien's leg and is shocked for a moment. She wants to try and fight back the Cellien, but Bear stops her, reminding her of the plan, saying they should stick to it to prevent more casualties, and that charging at it would be a waste of her sacrifice. They recompose. Bear takes Lucky and lights up a torch to draw the Cellien's attention, Lucky's eyes flash in multiple colors.

Kaban, however, decides to change the plan a bit - she runs towards the Cellien and puts up most of the skills she learned through the series to use. She quickly builds a rope and attaches it to her chest and a tree, then attempts to climb the tree, falling several times when close to her goal. She sees Serval inside the Cellien one more time. Mimicking Serval, Kaban yells "Myamyamya" repeatedly to encourage herself to climb and reaches a branch, From the branch, she jumps into the Cellien, diving into it's body, and swims in there all the way to Serval, picking her up and then returning through the rope she had attached, succesfully rescuing Serval, but she doesn't wake up. Realising she cannot run away carrying Serval, Kaban lights up a torch and lures the Cellien away from Serval. She lets out several words of gratitude towards Serval for helping and believing her, as the Cellien prepares to smite Kaban. Kaban, then, finishes with "Thank you. Be well.", as the Cellien strikes her and the ending plays.

In the PPP Preview, none of the Penguins are there, the stage seems far more derelict, and all that is said is "Next time: Amusement Park".
Kemono Friends Festival is an upcoming Kemono Friends mobile game developed by Goodroid. It is the second RPG in the Kemono Friends franchise, with the first being the Nexon game, and the fourth mobile game overall. The game was announced on March 26th, 2018.

Gameplay
The majority of the gameplay of Festival is currently a mystery, other than the fact that it is an RPG in some form. However, it is known that the game will contain gacha elements, and that Friends will likely be ranked in terms of stars similarly to the original mobile game.

Due to the presence of Celliens and an HP stat, the game will likely have combat.

Story
Serval is still danced crazy! At the Japari Festival!

The story takes place during the same time as the Japari Festival, where Celliens have been sighted recently. Meanwhile, several Friends find a book that tells of a hidden treasure that the Friends decide to look for.
{{FriendBuilder
|introduction=Emperor Penguin is a type of Friend that appeared in all Kemono Friends media to date. They have been featured as a member of the Penguins Performance Project in all its iterations with nickname Emperor.

|appearance=Emperor Penguin has medium-sized black hair with a few strands of orange hair in the middle, to mimic beak of the real emperor penguin. She wears a pair of headphones like all fellow PPP members, with hers following black and orange color pattern of her hair.

She wears an open, black jacket with the orange shoulders. The sleeves end in gloves that covers her whole hand, similarly to wings, like all other penguin characters. She also wears a white leotard underneath the jacket. A part of her that stands out among penguins is that she wears a pair of long white socks, accompanied with a pair of black boots.

|reallife=The emperor penguin is the largest and heaviest of all penguin species, they stand up to 114cm (45 inches) tall and weigh up to 30kg (66 pounds). The emperor penguin has a striking and distinguished appearance that has become emblematic of penguins on whole. They are social animals who forage and nest in groups. They are excellent swimmers and can reach speeds of up to 3.4 meters per second while swimming. They breed almost exclusively in extreme conditions on sea ice and are one of, if not the only bird that will never set foot on land. Their breeding season starts during the winter and takes place on the open sea ice, during this time they face temperatures as low as -60°C (-76°F) and winds up to 200 km/h (124 mph). Very few animals go through such extremes to give birth to their young.
During the mating season emperor penguins gather into a large colony to raise their eggs. In 2014, it was estimated that around 595,000 penguins gathered in 44 different colonies each year. After an egg has been laid the females leave for four months to hunt for food such as krill and squid while the males incubate the egg and endure the winter and keep the egg warm. Male emperor penguins are unique from other penguins in that they do not sit on their egg, instead they balance them on their feet and cover them in a feathered skin pouch called a brood pouch. During this time they huddle together for warmth and spend most of their time asleep; it is not uncommon for a male emperor penguin to sleep more than 20 hours a day in order to conserve energy. If the chick hatches before the mother returns the male emperor penguin feeds it a secretion of protein and fat produced from the male's esophagus. This ability to produce "milk" is unique to emperor penguins, pigeons, and flamingos. By the time the female has returned with food and the egg has hatched the male will have lost 40% of his body weight and have fasted on average 115 days.
The emperor penguin has no set nest during its incubation period, so when the mother returns they rely on complex vocal calls from their mate for identification. These vocal calls are known for using two frequency bands simultaneously. This call is distinct enough for the female to be able to tell where her mate and chick are in the colony of penguins. The parents then take turns either spending time at sea hunting or watching after their chick. This continues until the chick is about 150 days old, after it is abandoned by its parents to survive on its own.
Emperor penguins, like all other penguins, have a variety of predators to watch out for. Birds such as the Antarctic giant petrels and Antarctic skuas have been known to prey on chicks in colonies and Leopard seals attack chicks after they have molted and are entering the sea for the first time. Killer whales are a natural predator to all emperor penguins.
|trivia=*While she is the leader of PIP (the predecessor of PPP) in the Nexon Game, her leader position has been mostly succeeded by Royal Penguin from the anime onward. However, she is still referred as the official leader of PPP on stage and by Royal Penguin.
