The Red Fox is the largest of the foxes and has the greatest geographic range of all members of the Carnivora order. Red foxes are usually together in pairs or small groups consisting of families, eat primarily eat small preys such rabbits, galliformes, reptiles and invertebrates, however it can also eat fruits and vegetables from time to time.

Although the red fox hunts others predators including other foxes, it can be targeted by larger predators, such as wolves, coyotes, golden jackals and medium- and large-sized felines.
